The Price is Right is airing reruns until season 53 airs this fall.

The episode that aired on Friday was a rerun of May 1, 2024.

Lesa was playing to win a dishwasher, new dishes, an exercise bike and a car.

To win the prizes, she had to play a game called Rat Race.

Five mechanical mice are rolled up and placed on a track.

Lesa had to correctly guess the price of grocery items to choose a colorful mouse.

She matched all the items and chose the pink, blue and yellow mice.

Pink, yellow and green were the first three to cross the finish line and Lena won the car.

‘IT IS SCARY’

Despite the simple nature of the game and the game show using fake rats, fans find it scary.

Reddit users discussed the game on the platform.

“I don’t understand Rat Race, and it scares me… I don’t think she won the car, but they gave it to her – I know Drew reads this sub: Please remove Rat Race!” one fan said.

“I agree. One of my least favorite games,” said another.

“I used to work in an office that had a BAD rat infestation, and the rats would run across the floor during the day! If rats are active during the day, it means there are so many of them that they have to work in shifts! ” added a third.

“It scares me… at least the rats are brightly colored and not black and gray.”

The price is right, hosts

The Price is Right first appeared on TV in 1972. Fans fell in love with the game show so much that it has been on the air for over 50 years. Over that time, the show has had a few different hosts. Find out who they are below.

Bob Barker – 1972 to June 2007 (also became executive producer in 1988)

Drew Carey – October 2007 to present

Dennis James – replaced Bob in 1974 when he missed four episodes, also presented the nighttime version

Craig Ferguson – 2014 April Fools’ Day Special

BIG CHANCE

Fans were left confused when The Price is Right was suddenly taken off the air.

Season 52 ended on July 4, but the show didn’t let fans know.

They only found out about the season finale when a Halloween episode aired on July 8th.

“Did I miss somewhere in the last episode an announcement about a break or an off-season until the episodes start airing again?” one Reddit user asked.

“Has the show ended a while ago?” asked another.

The game show is currently on summer break and will return with new episodes this fall.

Drew Carey will also be back as host.
