After Tuesday’s episode, Jeopardy! fans posted about the game in their usual Reddit thread.

They discussed the players and where they were from, their winnings, Double Jeopardy! and much more.

Players participated in the discussion thread and posted their ideas.

While everyone was discussing the game, Alison commented on Isaac’s fashion sense.

“I am so upset to see Isaac go, he has been an amazing competitor and so much fun to watch,” she wrote.

“My only complaint? He set the style bar too high; I have no idea what I’m going to wear to ToC now.”

ToC is Tournament of Champions.

Isaac wore differently patterned button-down shirts, sweaters, and suit jackets while on Jeopardy!

Alison won five games in a row and became the first season 40 contestant to land a spot on TOC.

THIS IS HIRSCH

On July 16, Isaac’s winning streak came to an end.

Jeopardy!’s Isaac Hirsch loses 9-day streak due to shocking mistake that left him ‘horrified’ and reliving the bet in his sleep

He won nine games, which allowed him to advance to the Tournament of Champions.

Isaac made a mistake on Final Jeopardy! and was left in disbelief when the show ended.

His nine-day total was $215,390.

Isaac faced Erika Stromerson of Woodinville, Washington, and Jay Fisher of Lisle, Illinois, on Tuesday.

Danger! Host timeline

Danger! has had a tumultuous history regarding hosts following the death of the iconic Alex Trebek in 2020. Here are every host since the game show’s inception in 1964.

Art Fleming – from 1964 to 1975, he was the original host of the daytime version of Jeopardy! on NBC.

Alex Trebek – From 1984 to 2020, the late, great Alex hosted the modern iteration of Jeopardy! for 36 years until his death from pancreatic cancer.

Guest Hosts – 2020 to 2021, Jeopardy! tested a series of guest hosts for one- or two-week stints, including Anderson Cooper, LaVar Burton and Aaron Rodgers.

Mike Richards – 2021, he was named host for a week before resigning amid controversy. He was the show’s executive producer at the time.

Mayim Bialik – 2021 to 2023, when Mike was announced as the show’s new host, Mayim was chosen to host tournaments and primetime specials.

Mayim and Ken Jennings – 2022 to 2023, 74-time champion Ken (the winningest contestant of all time) joined Mayim as guest host and they shared hosting duties.

Ken Jennings – 2023 to present. Last December, Mayim announced on Instagram that she would “no longer” host Jeopardy! after a long hiatus, having defended the writers’ strike, and Ken was named sole host.

Ken now runs all editions of Jeopardy! including Celebrity Jeopardy!, the late night show and other primetime specials such as Masters.

Unfortunately, his game didn’t look good when he gave up $3,000 on the first Daily Double.

In Double Jeopardy!, Isaac encountered both Daily Doubles in a row, answering the second incorrectly but answering the third correctly.

However, his gamble cost him the victory and he finished in second place.

The last danger! the question read: “He said that the California prison psychological tests he took were those he had planned, so he made himself appear docile and unlikely to escape; so he did it.”

The answer was Timothy Leary, but none of the contestants got it right.

Isaac bet $14,000, which reduced his score to $1,300.

‘DONE THE WRONG MATHEMATICS’

Isaac explained the reasoning behind his bet in the Reddit thread above.

“Okay, so why did I bet $14,000?” He wrote.

“The short answer is that I did the math wrong. (Although I think it’s kind of obvious based on how I spent the first minute after the game looking at my scratch paper in horror).”

“I was trying to subtract 14,401 from 16,200 and somehow discovered 1,300 instead of 1,800 as the number I needed to get to if I got it wrong, hence the 14,000 bet,” continued Isaac.

“I spent the weeks after taping watching bad math in my sleep. I remembered basically nothing about most of the games from last week, but EVERYTHING about this game. All credit to Jay, who totally murdered me at the buzzer, especially in the first round.”

“This was bound to happen – I barely survived yesterday and was very, very tired. It’s been a fun experience watching these shows and I appreciate how nice people have been to me. I’ll have a lot to prove in ToC; not least, that I can do basic arithmetic”, concluded Isaac.
