Price is Right viewers beg to ‘air new episodes!’ during the break – as fans complain they are ‘unable’ to watch reruns

Price is Right angered fans by not showing reruns during the summer holidays.

The game show aired another show in its place just a week after the 52nd season ended.

To fill the gap for fans, CBS will air The Price is Right At Night on Wednesdays at 8 p.m.

However, the July 18 episode was interrupted by the Republican National Convention.

CBS has live coverage of the RNC July 15-18 starting at 8 p.m.

However, fans of The Price is Right were caught off guard because the show promoted a new episode for July 17th.

“Grab your popcorn (and your mother-in-law) and get ready for another incredible night of big wins in tonight’s #PriceisRight at Night!” they posted to Instagram on Wednesday.

The clip showed a man and his mother-in-law playing a game which they won and booked a trip to Greece.

A new episode of the Primetime special is expected to air next week.

‘BRING IT BACK!’

Fans commented on The Price is Right’s post to tell them to bring the show back.

“Unfortunately, the RNC broadcast took over,” one fan wrote.

“They are old, why don’t you bring new ones,” asked another.

“This is an October rerun,” added a third.

“Are you sure the price is right at night?” one fan asked.

To this, someone responded, “Not airing tonight due to the Republican National Convention.”

“I can’t wait for the new season,” said one last fan.

The Price is Right first appeared on TV in 1972. Fans fell in love with the game show so much that it has been on the air for over 50 years. Over that time, the show has had a few different hosts. Find out who they are below.

SCARY SURPRISE

When July 8th arrived, TPIR fans were hoping to watch a new episode of their favorite show.

However, they were met with host Drew Carey dressed as a wrestler and the announcer wishing everyone a Happy Halloween.

The episode was repeated in October 2023.

The Price is Right began its summer break ahead of the start of season 53 this fall.

Unless interrupted by something else, the game show is expected to air every weekday from now until September.

Fans were confused and wondered why The Price is Right didn’t warn fans about the break.

“Did I miss somewhere in the last episode an announcement about a break or an off-season until the episodes start airing again?” one Reddit user asked.

“I noticed some repeated episodes. Probably outside of the summer holidays. They do this every year,” one fan pointed out.

The Price is Right at Night is currently in its fifth season.
