A PRECIOUS Wheel of Fortune contestant has bested Pat Sajak in the shadow department after failing to solve a tricky $100,000 bonus puzzle.

On Wednesday, bubbly Brooke didn’t let the legendary host have the last word this time.

The Atlanta-born game show contestant couldn’t have been cuter, according to fans.

Kicking off the episode, she revealed that she “hasn’t missed an episode” of Wheel of Fortune in four years.

She is also an “avid reader,” reading 100 books a year, both of which have clearly paid off.

She won and went on to the special bonus round with the highest score of the night, $29,850, choosing “What Are You Doing?” as the category.

She chose an additional “CDHAG” because it had a wildcard, but the three-word puzzle was daunting.

It said “_ ST _ NG’ ‘A’ ‘_ _ _DE’ and with that, the 10-second timer started.

Brooke made her best guess, ‘Batting a…’, but ultimately came up short.

The completed puzzle was displayed after the time was up and it was “Post a video”.

Pat, 77, sarcastically told him that with so many words, it would be easier to solve once all the letters were done.

He joked: “It’s easy to see later.”

However, Brooke threw the shade back at him.

She said, “Of course!” and she threw up her hands, exclaiming, as if she had just hit overtime, “Posting a video, Pat!”

Pat started laughing and said, “Let me check with the judges. Was it too late!?” as she gave a thumbs up.

He added: “Your parents taught you that you could take risks too.”

He opened the prize card, which turned out to be the big chunk of $100,000.

He called it “always disappointing to see” but assured her she had a “great night,” adding, “You were amazing!”

‘GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR!’

“Brooke on tonight’s #WheelOfFortune is precious. I want to be her friend. What are you reading, girl? Haha,” wrote one X user.

“WheelofFortune Great sense of humor, Brooke. That was hard, honey, but it doesn’t matter. But hey, good riddance, lots of money. Enjoy your very, very good time. Good luck in the future and much success. Congratulations,” praised another.

PAT’S PACKED FILMING

Meanwhile, Pat not only marked his final day as host, but also recorded his farewell episode, which The US Sun can exclusively reveal.

He will say goodbye to the masses in the season 41 finale on Friday, June 7, 2024.

But a rep for Wheel of Fortune exclusively confirmed to The US Sun that Pat has already filmed her final six-episode series on April 5, 2024.

This includes its final episode, aptly titled “Thanks For The Memories,” which the show shared exclusively.

This means that Pat is done hosting the show and the episodes fans are seeing are airing because he is now retired.

The episode will be a TV milestone, as the host has been creating puzzles and prizes alongside Vanna White, 66, since 1981 and 1982, respectively.

The show hasn’t said whether Pat’s farewell episode will be a full tribute with memories from many years ago or simply business as usual with a goodbye at the end.

Tickets for Pat’s penultimate five episodes opened to the public at the last minute, while his farewell episode was not open to the public and was invite-only.

Pat announced in spring 2023 that she would be leaving the iconic game show and that season 41 would be her last.

Shortly after, Ryan Seacrest announced on Instagram that he would be replacing Pat as the new host in the fall of 2024.

The show airs weekdays at 7:30 pm ET on ABC, so fans can catch his farewell on June 7 at that time.

Pat loved the reaction - 'Let me check with the judges, was it too late!?'
