WHO Wants to Be a Millionaire was hit with an abrupt programming change by ABC just hours before tonight’s episode.

Jimmy Kimmel hosts the weekly game show with celebrities competing in pairs for up to $1 million for charity.

The third season of the Millionaire revival premiered earlier this month.

The show airs weekly at 8pm ET on Wednesday nights on ABC.

However, without much warning, the network delayed the third episode of the season.

Because of Joe Biden’s speech, the July 24 episode will air an hour later at 9 p.m. ET.

The show went out of its way to update fans on social media, posting a note on the episode’s promotions on Instagram, “**Airing one hour later for Eastern and Central time zones.”

They noted, however, that “mountain and Pacific broadcasts will remain unchanged.**”

Tonight’s episode features comedians Nicole Byer and Sasheer Zamata in the spotlight.

Afterwards, it will be Full House with actors John Stamos and Dave Coulier in a long-awaited reunion.

‘FILTH’

However, many fans took to social media, saying they couldn’t watch the episode now, and others lamented how ABC changed its entire late-night schedule.

“I have a horrible day scheduled for tomorrow and Millionaire was the only thing I was looking forward to,” wrote one user X.

“MILLIONAIRE IS SET AN HOUR BACK, BUT IT’S NOT THE ONLY SHOW DOING THIS ON ABC! CLAIM TO FAME IS ALSO SET A HOUR BACK! AND, SHARK TANK IS NOT ON THE AIR!” another exploded.

“Why was it postponed?” asked a third.

A fourth exclaimed: “Excited for Uncle Jesse and Joey!”

As the second fan lamented, this means that Claim to Fame will be airing at 10pm ET, and there will be no Shark Tank for the affected markets.

NEW MONEY

The new season of Millionaire has made for great TV so far and is attracting great reviews, making the switcharoo even more surprising.

In episode 1, John Mulaney and Nick Kroll went viral on X after getting an “easy” succession question wrong.

In episode 2, Parent Trap’s Lisa Ann Walter surprised fans by winning $250,000 after getting a hopeless geography question right and walking away proudly.

The rest of Season 3 will air at its usual timeslot of 8pm to 9pm weekly on ABC.

MORE ABOUT MILLIONAIRE

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire debuted on ABC in 1999 and was instantly a smash hit.

Hosted by Regis Philbin, the show’s growing popularity led to it being ordered as a regular series in 2000.

In 2002, nine savvy citizens won the big prize – but no one will forget their first millionaire, John Carpenter.

Meredith Vieira took over as host from 2002 to 2014, with Terry Crews, Cendric The Entertainer and Chris Harrison also hosting over the years.

Three more contestants took home a million during the syndicated version of the show.

The Millionaire Celebrity Edition debuted in 2020 with Kimmel.

ABC put the all-celebrity edition with Kimmel at the helm on indefinite hiatus in 2022 — but now it’s finally back.

Some fans lamented that they wouldn't be able to tune in with the time change, others were still excited
