Personal trainer Dylan faced off against Navy veteran Hattye and real estate agent Frank.

The trio were also Marvel fans, which only suited when the Whammys were replaced by Deadpool and Wolverine in honor of the new film.

During the second round of the Big Board, Dyan had a chance to “take the lead”, increasing his score from $0 to $7,401.

One round later, he won a Dodge Charger worth $59,000, and the crowd went wild when he charged $66,000.

Dylan’s wins kept coming as he won an astonishing $98,000 and landed in the mysterious “Big 50” house.

“I’m dead!” Elizabeth said as she passed out on set, and Dylan hugged his opponents.

The “Big 50” square ended up costing $50,000, giving it an incredible total of $152,233.

Avoiding a Whammy in his final round, Dylan secured the huge payday, setting a show record.

Michael Larson previously set the Press Your Luck record in the 1980s.

In 1984, the unemployed ice cream truck driver set the record for $110,000 by memorizing the board patterns.

This was also a record for the most amount won on any game show at the time.

FANS CELEBRATE

Fans went crazy over payday and the context given the show’s past.

“Eat your heart out, Michael Larson, new #PressYourLuck record of $152,333!” wrote one social media user.

“A new game show record!” wrote another.

“Michael Larson’s record has finally fallen!” wrote a third.

“Highest score in the main game!” wrote a fourth.

The record was previously set by Michael Larson, who memorized the board patterns in the 1980s.

‘LIFE CHANGING’

Elizabeth asked Dylan during the bonus round, “How does it feel to have won more money in our main game than anyone else in the history of Press Your Luck!?”

Dylan said he was planning to “buy a house” as he currently lives in a friend’s basement in Utah.

“This is life-changing,” his wife said through tears in the audience. “He is the most deserving person I can think of, I am very happy.”

Press Your Luck Season 6 airs weekly on Thursday nights throughout the summer at 8pm ET on ABC and Hulu.

FEELING LUCKY?

On Press Your Luck, contestants start with general knowledge trivia questions to win rounds on the Big Board.

For each question, the first person to enter has the chance to answer.

A correct answer gets three spins, while getting a multiple-choice answer right afterwards is worth one.

After four questions, the pool rotates to the Big Board (and the winner eventually moves on to the bonus round).

On the Big Board, there is money and prizes ranging from outdoor TVs to luxurious vacations.

But so does the sinister Whammy, which takes away all winnings and must be avoided at all costs.

The show was a hit in the 1980s, but ended in 1986 after just a few seasons.

Fans have been excited for the show to return and it is now hosted by Elizabeth – who is a huge fan and used to watch the show growing up, so ET.

According to the outlet, she “cried in the shower” after her first day hosting the revival because it meant so much to her.
