DANGER! removed almost all traces of former presenter Mayim Bialik from its website, including his biographical page, which The US Sun discovered.

The move seemed to be the clearest indicator yet that the game show has chosen Ken Jennings as its sole host.

Ken, 50, and Mayim, 49, were named Jeopardy! co-hosts in 2022, succeeding the late Alex Trebek after a dramatic host hunt.

In December 2023, the actress announced that she had been dismissed from the series, and the former champion was chosen as the sole presenter.

However, the two TV stars still had side-by-side biographies Jeopardy.com – till Friday.

With the iconic game show between seasons and its annual summer break, they’ve made some changes to their website.

The About The Show page has been updated and now only has Ken’s biography, excluding Mayim.

Additionally, searching Mayim’s bio on the site leads to an inactive “404” link.

Host bios allowed fans to learn more about the hosts by listing past accolades and information about their families.

Even after Mayim was let go, her and Ken’s biographies, with their beaming faces, were close to each other.

The site is also full of notable moments and announcements in the form of articles.

Now just two articles on the website they are marked with Mayim’s name. Although it is unclear whether her stories were also removed, 36 articles are marked Ken.

US Sun reached out for comment on the change.

OTHER ‘TRACKS’ TO FOLLOW

Since Mayim was only announced as leaving the syndicated or late-night show, fans were still wondering about future specials and spinoffs.

But Celebrity Danger! was recently renewed for season 41 without a host attached (Mayim was supposed to host it annually, but Ken stepped in for the most recent season).

And the new Pop Culture Jeopardy! hired Saturday Night Live star Colin Jost earlier this week.

Yogesh Raut gets candid about why he “chose to speak out” against Jeopardy! and how he ‘persevered’ despite fan hate

The producers never mentioned Mayim or her departure on their official weekly Inside Jeopardy! podcast.

O show recently remade its YouTube ending for all videos featuring just Ken.

It now appears that Mayim is unequivocally not returning at all.

Bye-ALIK

Following Alex’s death from pancreatic cancer in 2020, the show began a series of guest hosts, selecting and dropping producer Mike Richards.

Then Ken stepped in to share the hosting duties with Mayim, and that arrangement was made official and they pulled the plug.

Mayim initially left during the last two weeks of season 39 in May 2023, citing solidarity with the WGA strike.

But when the strike was resolved, it did not return.

On December 15, 2023, Mayim broke the Internet by announcing that was fired personally of Danger!

“As the Hollywood holidays begin, I have some Jeopardy! news,” she began her Instagram post.

“Sony has informed me that I will no longer be hosting the syndicated version of Jeopardy!”

Danger! cobbled together a similar statement on Instagram an hour later, and it has since been reported that Mayim broke the news without consulting the show first.

In its statement, the show expressed that it “looks forward” to working with Mayim on specials and spinoffs in the future.

That said, the actress has never mentioned the franchise on social media since then – or vice versa.

After his dismissal, showrunner Michael Davies stated, “Viewers wanted more consistency. They wanted a single host.”

Ken – who holds the record of 74 consecutive wins in 2004 – later said he understood the decision as a show that “doesn’t have two hosts”.

Ken also tended to be a fan favorite when the two stars were co-hosts.

Ken now runs all facets of the original show, including specials.

‘NO RELATIONSHIP’

A source recently told The US Sun that Mayim and Jeopardy! production are not in contact.

“The bottom line is she wanted the sole hosting job and Sony wasn’t willing to give it to her, and she decided to leave because of it,” a source exclusively told The US Sun.

“Mayim’s departure was a dance of egos because she didn’t want to look bad and neither did the Sony executives who oversaw the show,” the source added.

“But when Mayim made her announcement, the writing was on the wall that she wouldn’t get the full-time presenting job.”

The source continued, “She currently has no relationship with the production and is moving forward with her other work.”

“Everyone agrees this isn’t the job she was born to do – and that’s what led Sony to part ways with her,” the source added.

They also claimed that given the circumstances of the departure, it is unlikely that Mayim would want to return.

“The big question is: Would Mayim say ‘yes’ if asked to come back as a replacement? I’m not sure she would.”

Danger! Host timeline

Danger! has had a tumultuous history regarding hosts following the death of the iconic Alex Trebek in 2020. Here are every host since the game show’s inception in 1964.

Art Fleming – from 1964 to 1975, he was the original host of the daytime version of Jeopardy! on NBC.

Alex Trebek – From 1984 to 2020, the late, great Alex hosted the modern iteration of Jeopardy! for 36 years until his death from pancreatic cancer.

Guest Hosts – 2020 to 2021, Jeopardy! tested a series of guest hosts for one- or two-week stints, including Anderson Cooper, LaVar Burton and Aaron Rodgers.

Mike Richards – 2021, he was named host for a week before resigning amid controversy. He was the show’s executive producer at the time.

Mayim Bialik – 2021 to 2023, when Mike was announced as the show’s new host, Mayim was chosen to host tournaments and primetime specials.

Mayim and Ken Jennings – 2022 to 2023, 74-time champion Ken (the winningest contestant of all time) joined Mayim as guest host and they shared hosting duties.

Ken Jennings – 2023 to present. Last December, Mayim announced on Instagram that she would “no longer” host Jeopardy! after a long hiatus, having defended the writers’ strike, and Ken was named sole host.

Ken now runs all editions of Jeopardy! including Celebrity Jeopardy!, the late night show and other primetime specials such as Masters.

Ken is reportedly tied to a $4 million hosting contract, whichalthough that number could increase as Alex earns $10 million annually by the end of his 36-year tenure.

The 41st season of Jeopardy! premieres on September 9th.
