KIM Kardashian is no stranger to experimenting with her fashion, but it appears her latest look has backfired.

Kim shared a photo of herself in the outfit on her Instagram on Tuesday before attending Janet’s concert with her mother Kris Jenner and sister Khloe Kardashian.
It consists of a short black vest with white plastic details on the front.
Kim paired it with tight black baggy pants tied at the waist.
The outfit first appeared to the public in Janet’s 1993 music video for the single If.

She wore the same outfit briefly in the video and it sold for $25,000 in May 2021 at auction.
It was originally listed in the Iconic Treasures from the Legendary Career and Life of Janet Jackson auction.
In Kim’s photo, she took a photo of her body in her Los Angeles mansion and shared it with millions of fans.
Kim also sent a photo of Janet dressed to celebrate her birthday.

“For Janet Jackson’s birthday because I’m a huge fan,” she captioned the post.
“I can’t believe I got this outfit.”
The star then stepped out in the iconic outfit, which left several Reddit fans furious.
Several followers accused Kim of ruining the look.
CRITICISM CORNER
“Kim isn’t happy unless she’s ruining iconic outfits,” one user captioned the Kardashian-themed thread with several photos of Kim in the outfit.
“She has millions of dollars. She could easily buy cases for these clothes and display them in her home,” wrote one fan.
“Instead, she is using them and ruining them. Like, why not ask someone to replicate the clothes so the iconic ones don’t get destroyed.
“What is her obsession with wearing iconic women’s clothes? This just makes her seem even less original,” added another.
“Come on, Kimmy, this is getting really awkward now,” said a third.
A fourth noted that the outfit looked “so cheap” while Kim wore it.
“Why would she do that after the backlash over Marilyn’s dress?” she asked a fifth in reference to Kim’s 2022 Met Gala look, where she wore Marilyn Munroe’s Happy Birthday President dress.
At the time, a museum accused Kim of damaging the dress after wearing it due to the two women being different sizes.
This was later disproven, as the owner of the dress said she only wore it briefly on the red carpet.
FAMILY FRIENDS?
Janet reposted Kim’s look to her own Instagram Story and thanked the star for her recognition.
“Thank you so much Kim Kardashian,” she captioned the photo with kiss emojis.
“I hope ‘If’ gives you as much pleasure as it gave me,” she concluded.
This wasn’t the first time the Kardashians had tangled with the Jacksons, with Kim’s ex-husband Kanye West spending money on another family keepsake.
In 2019, Kim said Kanye spent more than $65,000 on a velvet jacket worn by Michael Jackson for his daughter North West.
Additionally, it was revealed that Kim was allegedly romantically involved with Janet’s nephew Tito Joe Jackson – or TJ – the son of Michael’s older brother Tito.
According to biographer Sean Smith in his book titled Kim, Kim lost her virginity when she was 14 years old.
This has not been confirmed by that star, but she recalled memories of spending time with her family in her youth.
“When you arrived, there were baby elephants and chimpanzees in onesies, and there were all the rides. It was everything you could imagine,” she previously said. People magazine about Jackson’s Neverland Ranch.
TJ, who is married and has three children, told the British newspaper To reveal magazine that he is still in contact with Kim.
“I still talk to family from time to time, but not much because our schedules are so busy.”
