KIM Kardashian opted out of Coachella to attend this year’s Breakthrough Awards Ceremony with her mother.
The Skims mogul and her mother, Kris Jenner, 68, attended the 10th annual Science Awards ceremony in contrasting outfits.

Kim, 43, was seen in a floor-length white dress that perfectly hugged her famous figure.
The dress featured mini slits at the side of the waist and a triangular cutout at the chest, allowing the Hulu star to show off ample cleavage.
The top of the textured garment had straps that crossed over and fastened behind the neck for a halter design.
Kim completed her look with sharp black nails, dark red lipstick and a hairstyle that looked wet.

She had her waist-length locks left down with her side bangs lightly swept over her forehead, opting for the wet hairstyle that she and her sisters have been seen sporting lately.
Kris, the family matriarch, attended the ceremony wearing an all-black ensemble consisting of a floor-length skirt and an oversized blazer.
Underneath, she chose a sheer black shirt paired with a low-cut top.
The mother-daughter duo were photographed on the Breakthrough Prize red carpet, opting out of the first weekend of this year’s Coachella Music Festival.

Kim last attended the annual music event in 2022, where she was a VIP at the Revolve Festival.
The event also came shortly after family friend OJ Simpson died on Wednesday following his battle with cancer.
WET HAIR, DON’T CARE
Kim’s latest look hasn’t been seen before, as she has sported a similar hairstyle in the past.
Near the end of last year, she showed up to the 2023 Baby2Baby Gala in a style that drew some negative reactions from fans.
She also styled her long, dark hair to look practically damp, which fans labeled as “wet, sticky, damaged and oily.”
“I don’t know why the Kardys are pushing the wet hair look so hard because it looks absolutely horrible and really isn’t something a non-celebrity could wear for a nice occasion or for everyday use,” wrote another.
They added: “It’s not a flattering look on me; It makes your hair look oily and disheveled.”
Weeks later, she received similar criticism while wearing wet hair at a Los Angeles Lakers game.
“It looks greasy and oily and gross, like it came out of a sewer,” someone said.
Kim’s younger sister Kylie Jenner, 26, also opted for the new hairstyle at this year’s Paris Fashion Week.
The Kardashian star arrived at the Maison Margiela show wearing a stunning silver number and wet hair that fell in front of her face.

Kim has been making headlines with her latest looks, as some fans believe she may be copying the style of her ex, Kanye West’s new wife, Bianca Censori.
Kim and the rap star were married from 2014 to 2021 and have four children together: North, 10; Saint, 8; Chicago, 6; and Psalm, 4.
On Friday, the reality TV star attended her son Saint West’s basketball game in an all-black Balenciaga outfit that covered her curvaceous body.

The black jacket was extremely large and the large, puffy sleeves went past the wrists and covered the hands.
Underneath, Kardashian wore a pair of black boots connected to pants.
The outfit was similar to something Bianca, 29, wore just a few months earlier.
Bianca, who married the rapper in December 2022, was spotted wearing an oversized black jacket with sleeves covering her wrists and hands.
Kim has been accused of imitating Bianca’s style in the past and has even been criticized for possibly copying her nose after fans claimed she had cosmetic surgery.
In mid-March, Kim went braless under a brown fur coat while one of her breasts was nearly exposed, leaving fans comparing the look to one of Bianca’s.
Last week, Kim was also criticized for her slicked-back hairstyle, which fans claimed made her look like architectural designer Yeezy.
“Kim, this is embarrassing. Your ex-husband doesn’t want you back, even though you (are trying to) look like his new wife,” someone said.
