Kim Kardashian’s outfit has people questioning Tatum’s birthday party dress code, saying her ‘classic’ look is back

KIM Kardashian’s outfit for her nephew’s dinosaur-themed birthday party has left fans questioning the event’s dress code.

On Sunday, Khloe Kardashian gave her Instagram followers a glimpse of son Tatum Roberts’ second birthday party, complete with dinosaur egg piñatas and an elaborate three-tier cake.

Khloe, who recently turned 40, wore a white eyelet minidress and finished the look with sunglasses, white sneakers and a delicate diamond pendant.

However, fans struggled to understand what the party’s dress code was after Khloe shared a video of Kim, 43, arriving in a floor-length gold dress.

“Wow, the Golden Globe It’s here, ladies and gentlemen!’ Khloe teased her sister, while Kim was accompanied by her youngest daughter, six-year-old Chicago West.

“You’re the party!” added the Good American founder.

Writing on a Reddit forum dedicated to the famous family, fans asked “what is she wearing” while pointing out the “dress code confusion.”

“I’m sitting here wondering what the dress code was here haha,” one person wrote. “That dress is beautiful.”

“Is she going to a fancy party? Because what is she wearing?” another comment read.

Some declared that the outfit signaled that “Kim’s classic looks are back,” as the statement, floor-length dress is a departure from the neutral jumpsuits and leather pants she prefers.

Meanwhile, others were left trying to decipher Kim’s comment about “change,” as heard in the video posted by Khloe.

“Wait, am I traveling or did she say she’s moving?! Is she leaving the museum?” one person wrote.

In the short clip, Kim responded to Khloe’s joke about her red carpet-ready ensemble by saying, “I’m moving in!”

Defending the look, Kim added that she had already called Khloe to ask if she should wear something “fancy” or “workout clothes.”

Several fans offered theories about what Kim might have meant, with one person writing, “She just finished renovating her Malibu house so maybe she is!”

Another comment said, “Even though she is moving, I don’t see her leaving Calabasas. She might build a new house or renovate another, but in the same area, they seem too entangled to live far from each other. Kendall…”

Kim and Kourtney’s Feud Timeline

The Kardashian sisters are known for disagreeing and arguing several times during their reality show.

THE BENTLEY FIGHT

In 2008, Kim and Kourtney had their first major televised argument, which involved Kim’s then-new Bentley.

Khloe confronted the man who helped Kim into the car after he left them waiting, to which Kim did not defend her sisters.

“You’re so disgusting. All you care about is money,” Kourtney told Kim

Kourtney and Khloe argued with Kim before she went to Rob Kardashian’s apartment, where the sisters continued to argue.

VIDEO GAME REFUSAL

The sisters clashed again in 2015 when Kim wanted all of her sisters to be involved in her video game, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood.

Kourtney refused to allow her figure to be used in the game, which angered Kim.

Kourtney’s ex, Scott Disick, later told Kim that Kourtney wanted a pair of her shoes.

“And I was like, ‘Buy her a pair of fucking shoes, all the shit I did for her?’ I told Scott, ‘I’m not buying her a pair of shoes, I bought her fucking career!’” Kim later said on screen.

As Complex reported, Kourtney sent Kim a cease and desist letter, but Kourtney later showed up at Kim’s game.

CHRISTMAS IS CANCELED

Kim and Kourtney had one of their most famous confrontations in 2018 when Kim was trying to set a time to film Kardashian’s infamous Christmas card, but Kourtney was having a hard time picking a date.

“No one wants you at the fucking filming, I’m planning it. I’m planning the filming. So we don’t want you at the filming,” Kim yelled at her sister as she said she would leave the event on her own time.

Their mother, Kris Jenner, intervened and agreed that Kourtney was being difficult.

“Maybe if you had a business you were passionate about, you’d know what it takes to run a damn business, but you don’t, so don’t even act like you know what I’m talking about! ” Kim said in a scene that ended up becoming a viral meme.

“She doesn’t do shit, she doesn’t know what it’s like to actually have work to do,” Kim continued.

COPY KOURT?

In 2019, Kim accused Kourtney of copying her as she appeared to be “picking the same clothes.”

“Yeah, I don’t know what you’re talking about, I’ve never dressed like you,” Kourtney replied.

“I don’t think Kourtney really understands the legwork that goes into this, like I don’t think anyone does,” Kim said in a confessional.

“You really have to have a relationship with that designer. I spent months and months flying to Miami to see what his vision is, so for her to come in, I was like, ‘Oh, come on, she has no idea how this works.'”

The conversation became more heated until Kourtney admitted that she will return clothes if they are too similar to Kim’s style.

Kim and Kourtney’s feud came to an end when the sisters got into a physical fight in 2020.

The sisters were sitting in Khloe’s room before Kim criticized Kourtney’s work ethic and said she didn’t care about anything.

Kourtney got angry before getting up and starting to fight with Kim.

Kim retaliated and Khloe had to separate the sisters.

NANNY QUESTIONS

In 2021, Kourtney expressed that she was unhappy with how the anonymous nanny had spoken to her youngest son, Reign.

Kim did not accept Kourtney’s accusations and said she spoke to the nanny who disagreed with Kourtney’s account.

“I like her, so she won’t be fired. I like to keep my team for a long time, so that’s how I feel,” Kim retaliated.

Kourtney said she would never let her be around her kids again, to which Kim told her, “Shut up.”

“You keep projecting all your bullshit onto me” Kourtney yelled before leaving the room.

In December 2023, it was reported that Kim had completed renovations on her luxurious $70 million Malibu mansion, with Online Mail revealing that the Mediterranean-style home has four bedrooms and six bathrooms.

Kim first revealed that she had purchased a house in Malibu during an episode of The Kardashians that aired in July 2023, describing it as a “pinch-me-not moment.”

“So I bought a house in Malibu and this has always been a dream of mine,” the mother of four said in a confessional. “It’s just one of those moments where I can’t believe I enjoyed achieving a goal that I didn’t really think was realistic.”

BIRTHDAY WISHES

Khloe, who shares Tatum with her ex-boyfriend and NBA star Tristan Thompson, celebrated her birthday with a sweet Instagram post after the Jurassic-inspired party.

Opening the slideshow with a photo of her and Tatum dressed in dinosaur pajamas, Khloe captioned her post: “How are you two already?!”

Khloe, who welcomed Tatum via surrogate in 2022, added, “I know we were meant to be together. I know we spent many moments together before we met. The comfort I find in your eyes confirms that we’ve met before.

“My precious son, I know you were mine in another life.”

Khloe also shares six-year-old daughter True Thompson with Tristan.

Their on-again, off-again relationship ended in 2021 after court documents revealed the 33-year-old athlete fathered a son with personal trainer Maralee Nichols.

Khloe recently posted a heartfelt birthday wish for Tristan’s little brother, Amari Thompson, on Instagram as he turned 18 on July 27.

Alongside photos of her posing with Amari for selfies, Khloe captioned the post: “Happy 18th birthday sweet angel Amari!! I can’t believe you’re 18! You changed our lives in the best way possible!”
