In case you missed Bad luck When it initially premiered in 2015 and has no time to catch up, the true crime docu-series investigates a series of murders surrounding one figure: New York multimillionaire and real estate heir Robert Durst. Durst was suspected of two murders of people close to him and confessed to a third murder, but defended self-defense and was acquitted by a jury.
If you’ve seen true crime before, you might be thinking that this one looks like the rest. The biggest difference with Bad luck? *Spoiler alert* In the final episode, Jarecki records Durst’s confession to the three murders. In real time, Durst was arrested for the murders the day before the series’ final episode aired.
