Glen Powell Leaks News of Sydney Sweeney Film by Admitting His ‘Agent Is Going to Hate Him for Saying That’

On an upcoming episode of Sunday Sitdown, Glen, 35, talks to Today anchor Willie Geist.

In the peekthe Top Gun: Maverick actor discusses the possibility of reuniting with Sydney, 26, for some more romantic comedy films.

Last year, the two starred in the box office hit Anyone But You, which sparked rumors that the two were dating due to their impeccable chemistry – however, they both denied they were together.

In the clip, Willie asked, “So how many romantic comedy scripts did you receive the Monday after opening weekend?”

Glen laughed and responded, “Sydney and I want to go back to the trenches together, but the funniest part is we’ve both said in interviews that we’re reading scripts and my agent said ‘Why did you do that? ? You put so much work on my plate.

Glen then talked about different actors and actresses who have worked together on various films, including George Clooney and Julia Roberts, as well as Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson.

“It’s when you find someone with whom you have a great creative partnership, someone you can really trust, someone who treats the crew and their castmates well, and that you really see the film.

“She’s such a smart businesswoman, you want to keep doing this. There’s no reason to do it any other way.”

Craig then asked the big question: is there another Glen/Sydney romantic comedy in the works?

“Yes, my agent will hate me for anything, but we are reading [scripts].”

WORKING TOGETHER IN THE FUTURE

Earlier this year, Sydney and Glen sat down with Today’s Jenna Bush Hager, 42, and Hoda Kotb, 59, to discuss any news they might spill about working together again.

Jenna said, “Okay, I feel like we need a romantic comedy renaissance. When I was a kid and [speaking to Sydney] you weren’t even alive, there was Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks, all these people would do recurring movies together.

Is this something you two could see happening?”

Sydney and Glen looked at each other and Sydney was the first to speak: “We’ve already talked about this.”

Glen agreed: “Yeah, I think we’re definitely looking for something else to do together. Let’s Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks on this thing I’m missing.”
