ACTOR Chris Pratt has shared his close bond with the late Tony McFarr following the stuntman’s unexpected death.
In a series of Instagram Stories, Chris, 44, uploaded throwback photos of himself and Tony, 47.
In behind-the-scenes photos, Tony posed with the star as they wore their Jurassic World and Passengers costumes.
As the stories continued, the Parks and Recreation alum shared a lengthy statement about his former stunt double.
The pair rocked the leather vest and blue ensemble as adventurer Owen Grady before showing off their fake beard and hair to lone passenger, Jim Preston.
“Devastated to hear of the loss of my friend and former stuntman Tony McFarr,” he captioned the post.
“We made several films together. We played golf, drank whiskey, smoked cigars and spent endless hours on set.”
“I will never forget your toughness.”
The Guardians of the Galaxy star then described a brutal moment when his stunt double was injured doing his Marvel movies.
“I remember he got shot badly in the head (in the Guardians 2 title sequence) and had several staples in his head.”
“[Tony] I went back to work ready to go again.”
“He was an absolute stud. He was always a gentleman and professional,” Chris continued.
“He will be missed.”
“My prayers go out to his friends and family, especially his daughter,” he concluded.

‘You do nasty stunts’
In September 2020, Tony continued The LAN Cave YouTube show and discussed his stunts in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“My time with [Marvel] on Captain America: Civil War, I only worked a few weeks,” he said.
“Sometimes, you know, there are a few days of work.”
“Sometimes you do nothing. Sometimes you sit around. Sometimes you do nasty stunts.”
“Obviously, when I was voicing for Pratt, I was doing all the stunts and everything,” Tony recalled.
