WHEN Calls the Heart star Mamie Laverock is reportedly recovering after suffering serious injuries in a bad fall she took earlier this month.
The Hallmark actress’ family shared an update on Mamie’s condition in a GoFundMe campaign created by her parents.
In the postRob and Nicole Compton informed their daughter’s followers that Mamie, 19, was “out of major surgery” and that doctors assured her she was “fine.”
“It’s impossible for us to be happier”, they added and thanked everyone for their support.
Mamie was hospitalized on May 11 due to an undisclosed medical emergency.
She was “showing signs of improvement,” according to her GoFundMe campaign, although she was expected to remain in the hospital for “more than a month.”

However, Mamie experienced another scary incident on Sunday when she fell from a five-story balcony.
Her family said it happened as she was being escorted out of a secure unit at the hospital.
The TV star suffered serious injuries resulting in “multiple extensive surgeries” and was placed on life support.
“We are all devastated, in shock, at this extremely difficult time,” Rob and Nicole previously shared about their daughter’s accident.
Mamie’s WCTH co-stars also expressed their feelings about the devastating news on social media.
Erin Krakow shared a screenshot of the GoFundMe page on his Instagram and encouraged others to donate.
“I just donated. If you have the means to do so, I hope you do too. Link in bio,” the actress wrote in her post.
Johannah Newmarch, who plays Mamie’s on-screen mother, also shared her support on X, formerly Twitter.
“I love this family, my heart is broken. A devastating time for everyone caring for Mamie. Please help if you can. They need all the support they can get to get through this,” she wrote and shared a link to the campaign .

According to her IMDB profileMamie appeared in nine episodes of the popular Hallmark series from 2014 to 2023, with the recurring role of nursing student Rosaleen Sullivan.
