The film is currently in theaters and will apparently be available for purchase on Apple, YouTube, and Amazon in the future, but audiences have praised the film with mixed feelings.

In A Violent Nature was directed by Hollywood’s Chris Nash and stars actors Ryan Barrett, Andrea Pavlovic and Charlotte Creaghan, among others.

Rotten Tomatoes, the movie ratings website, has seen a lot of new ideas popping up since the release of the highly anticipated slasher.

The film received rave reviews from the site’s critics, achieving a solid score of 87%, which is high for a new film.

However, the audience only shows a small 45%, proving that it does not seem to be a success for viewers.

Critics had previously rated the popular horror film Abigail at 85%, despite it being a huge hit with audiences.

Abigail also received an 85% rating from the public.

Social media fans were confused as to why critics gave In A Violent Nature such a high rating when fans were not satisfied with their viewing experience.

“‘IN A VIOLENT NATURE’ is now certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes at 87%, with 105 reviews,” wrote one user on X, formerly Twitter.

Fans flooded the comments with confusion.

CRITICISM CORNER

“The audience score says otherwise haha,” wrote a follower.

“Someone is lying… is this movie fire or trash?…” asked another.

“Why is the audience score bad? It’s usually the opposite,” asked a third.

“The audience score is the only one that matters,” noted a fourth.

105 critics flooded the Rotten Tomatoes page with love for the film, despite saying that it took a while to produce results.

POSITIVE THOUGHTS

“Easily the best horror film of 2024 so far,” wrote one critic with a rating of three and a half stars out of five.

“An intriguing, slow-paced art destroyer that is both beautifully scenic and brutal at the same time,” added another.

“In a Violent Nature is a solid execution of a high-concept idea that brings a new perspective to slashers,” said a third.

However, audiences flooded the review section with criticism of the new film.

More than 100 users left their opinions, and the majority said the pacing was bad.

UNSAFE VISITORS

“Man oh man, this movie stinks. If you enjoy watching a movie where 50 minutes is just a zombie walking around, then you’ve come to the right place,” expressed one angry reviewer.

“Some of the deaths are good, but they don’t make up for how boring and stupid the story is. Don’t watch this movie. Save 2 hours.”

“So slow and boring. Terrible last 15 minutes (felt like an hour) of meaningless dribbling. Skip,” emphasized another.

“Film SUCKS!!!!! Don’t waste your time!” simply noted a third.

Others repeated the fact that it is better to go home instead of going to the cinema to watch the movie.
