‘This is just disgusting’, Saltburn fans scream as ‘disgusting’ vinyl of film’s soundtrack leaves them ‘traumatised’

SALTBURN fans have expressed their disgust at the reveal of a bizarre vinyl of the film’s soundtrack.

Blood Records shared a video of the vinyl’s strange appearance and interesting album cover art.

The clip circulated on social media where fans couldn’t get over the album’s peculiar look.

It showed clear vinyl that appeared to be filled with water while a liquid substance moved freely inside the record.

The center looked like a bathtub drain, apparently a reference to a controversial scene in the film in which actor Jacob Elordi’s character Felix Catton masturbated in the bathtub, and Barry Keoghan’s Oliver Quick made some questionable decisions with the remaining bath water.

Following the film’s release in November 2023, many fans expressed their discomfort with the scene, which led to mixed reviews at the box office.

FAN REACTIONS

Fans were again not pleased as the vinyl reminded them of the awkward moment and they shared their thoughts online.

“I love the design, but this made me vomit,” wrote one person on X, formerly Twitter.

“I hated the bathwater scene,” recalled a second, while a third commented: “Traumatized once again.”

“This is mega nasty on so many levels,” said a fourth.

“Disgusting!” a fifth added, and a sixth added: “Oh, that’s just dirty, but also kind of over the top.”

The album cover didn’t create as much of a fuss, as it captured a photo of the entire cast with the lower half of their bodies appearing to melt into the cover.

Within the soundtrack are a series of 2000s indie and pop classics from artists such as MGMT, Girls Aloud, The Killers, Bloc Party and Arcade Fire.

Arguably one of the film’s most popular tracks, Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s Murder on the Dancefloor reached number two in the UK Singles Chart.

As for the actors, they’ve received a lot more attention since the film’s release, especially Jacob and Barry.

Jacob’s personal life has been in the media; however, it was not for a good reason.

Things are heating up between the lovebirds, and Barry has even moved from the UK to Los Angeles, California to be closer to her.

In February, The US Sun exclusively reported that Barry is now living in Hollywood to develop his relationship with Sabrina and her Salt burn success.

The actor split from his ex, Alyson Kierans, mother of his 1-year-old son Brando, last July.
