The trailer for the new Joker film, which is a sequel to the 2019 film, was released on Tuesday.

The sequence finds Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix, 49) admitted to Arkham, where he awaits trial for his crimes as the Joker.
While struggling with his dual identity, Arthur stumbles upon true love with Harley Quinn (Gaga) while in the asylum and finds the song that has been in his head the whole time.
After meeting, the couple dances, kisses, takes off their straight jackets and wreaks havoc on Gotham City.
When the villain is in prison, Harley Quinn visits him and tells him he can “do whatever he wants”.
Lady Gaga, 38, puts the same makeup on her face as her boyfriend, and they become a powerful evil duo.
Joker: Folie À Deux will hit theaters on October 4th.
The film also stars Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener and Zazie Beetz, who is reprising her role as Sohpie Dummond from the first film.
Joker grossed more than $1 billion at the global box office.
‘SO HAPPY THEY’RE TOGETHER’
Fans think they are the best duo to play the roles.
“Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga will make one of the best acting duos of the year. I’m so happy to see them in a movie together,” said a fan on YouTube, where the trailer was released. postedhe said.
“Ryan and Hugh: we are the best duo on screen this year. Phoenix and Gaga: hold our red noses,” added another.
“Joaquin Phoenix: Want to help me win another Oscar? Lady Gaga: Say less,” added a third.
“I don’t know how Lady Gaga always manages to transform into different roles and do it so incredibly seamlessly,” said another.
“These two are iconic together,” wrote one last fan.
Other fans said the trailer was very well edited and doesn’t look like a sequel, but rather a standalone film.
THE FIRST MOVIE
The 2019 film smashed the box office and grossed more than $1 billion globally.
It had Arthur Fleck as a failed comedian walking the streets of Gotham City.
He had two masks – the one he wears in his day job as a clown and the other is a disguise he projects in an attempt to feel part of the world around him.
Arthur began a slow descent into madness after being isolated, bullied, and disregarded by society.
That’s when he becomes the criminal mastermind known as the Joker.
The Joker is a popular villain who originated in the 1940s Batman comics.
Harley Quinn was created in 1992 for Batman: The Animated Series.
