HUGH Jackman explained his finger injury when he appeared with a cast on his appendix on Live with Kelly and Mark on Thursday.
The actor said this happened on the set of his latest film.
“What happened?” host Kelly Ripa, 53, asked as she looked at the cast on Hugh’s finger.
“It’s okay. It’s okay,” he informed his hosts.
“I hurt my finger like that,” said presenter Mark Consuelos, 53 years old. “Did you tear it and pull it down?”
“Yeah, I looked down and it was like this,” said Hugh, 55, bending his finger in a strange way.
The Wolverine actor said it didn’t hurt at all.
“I didn’t even know I did it,” said Hugh, 55.
The actor told the audience and hosts of Live With Kelly and Mark that he had to keep his cast for eight weeks.
HOW DID THIS HAPPEN
Kelly asked if he knew how he got hurt.
“I was doing ADR on the set of Wolverine and I was doing all this stuff and I looked down and my finger was like this,” Hugh said.
“Did you snap your finger doing ADR?” Kelly asked.
“That’s how committed I am,” Hugh joked.
ADR stands for automated dialogue replacement, which improves the sound quality of an actor’s dialogue.
Hugh was talking about the new Deadpool and Wolverine movie coming to theaters on July 26th.
