The Oscar-winning actor will be cast as Frank Sinatra in an upcoming biopic.
The film will be directed by Martin Scorsese, 81, who created hit films such as Taxi Driver and The Irishman.
Rounding out the very talented team, Jennifer Lawrence, 33, is also in line for a role.
The Hunger Games alum is tipped to play Sinatra’s second wife, Ava Gardener.
However, Leo, 49, Jennifer and Martin may struggle before the project gets off the ground.

Sinatra’s family shared their reluctance to see a biopic based on the iconic Rat Pack frontman.
In 2016, Martin spoke out about Sinatra’s estate hindering the works.
“We can’t do this! I think it’s finally over. They [Sinatra’s estate] will not agree with this. Open it again and I’m there!
“Certain things are very difficult for a family and I completely understand,” said the director, via Yahoo.
“But if they expect me to do that, they can’t contain certain things. The problem is that the man was so complex. Everyone is so complex, but Sinatra in particular,” he added, referring to his desire to show the Sinatra’s darker side alongside his brighter moments.

Although their current project is in a turbulent stage, Leo and Martin share history Of success.
The duo has worked on several films together since Leo’s early days in the industry.
Leo and Martin first collaborated in 2002 on the hit film Gangs from New York.
After several other films, they reunited last year for Killers of the Flower Moon, which received a whopping 10 Oscar nominations.
Leo is not shy about his admiration for Martin and spoke fondly of him while talking about his work on The Wolf of Wall Street.

He recalled: “Years go by and Leo is presented with Gangs of New York, and we worked together on Gangs… and he wanted to explore the same territory…
“We developed more of a relationship when we did The Aviator. And there was a kind of – towards the end – something happening, a maturity with him. I’m not sure, but we really clicked.”
