MATTEL has leaked a crucial detail about the upcoming Wicked film with the release of action figures for the main characters.
Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande reacted to their Mattel dolls and their dolls’ singing voices in a video on Wednesday.

The actresses first saw the dolls at CinemaCon in April, but fans saw them for the first time on July 31st.
The pop megastar plays Glinda in the film, while Broadway star Cynthia plays Elphaba.
“It’s perfect,” said Ariana, 31, when choosing her character on Instagram video.
“I will die!” she said, calling hers “perfect” and “so tall.”
Cynthia loved her dolls’ baby hairs, and Ariana said they made her anxious eyebrows look perfect.
When Cynthia, 37, picked hers up, he started singing his version of Elphaba’s song Defying Gravity.
Ariana’s Glinda doll played her song, Popular.
These songs are the film’s biggest character moments, and Defying Gravity is the main number.
Ariana said she “needed a moment” after hearing the dolls sing.
“What a dream come true to be realized as Elphaba and Glinda in the form of Sweet Little dolls. Little Cynthia and little Ari are pleased,” Cynthia captioned the publish.

A fan posted a video on TikTok of the dolls singing and others reacted to the take.
“What?” asked a fan in the comments.
“Couldn’t you have waited for the movie?” asked another.

Wicked the film will be released in theaters on November 22, 2024.
