TAYLOR Swift has sparked speculation about a Broadway debut after booking a new term for her The Eras Tour.
The pop star’s company, TAS Rights Management, submitted the necessary documentation to trademark the phrase “Female Rage: The Musical” on Saturday, May 11.
Taylor, 34, coined the term over the weekend after performing songs from her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, in Paris, France.
“This post is dedicated to the new Tortured Poets section of the Eras Tour (aka Female Rage The Musical!),” she wrote on social media on Sunday.
“And everyone who made these memories so magical.
“To my team, fellow artists and band who worked tirelessly during the break to prepare this surprise for you – but especially for the fans in Paris.

“I’m so grateful that we showed you this for the first time because you gave us so much emotion, passion and love.”
She ended her post by writing, “I’m SO excited to play this for all the tour audiences. See you soon, Stockholm!” with a white heart emoji.
LIMITED TO BROADWAY?
Since the news broke, fans have wondered about Taylor’s reasoning for filing a trademark for what was essentially a joke made during her tour.
Several believe the star may be breaking into the Broadway scene.

“The Taylor Swift effect coming to Broadway,” one of them theorized on X, formerly Twitter.
“Finally a musical from his entire discography”, guessed a second.
“She’s in a musical now, I knew it,” said a third.
“We’re going to Broadway!” a fourth gushed in capital letters.
“Going for that EGOT,” commented a fifth, noting the acronym for winning all four American performing arts awards, including the Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony.
“She’s doing a musical, my God,” wrote another.
I THINK ABOUT THE MARKET
However, others believed the term could only be used for new products, as the pop star’s fandom has already begun creating t-shirts with the slogan since she coined the phrase.
“For products,” one said briefly, while a second agreed: “I’m pretty sure this is just for products.”
“Probably to protect herself and her fans. People are already selling ‘Female Rage: The Musical’ with her picture on t-shirts and shit,” noted a third.
“People don’t realize that this is probably not something to get excited about and that celebrities buy trademarks just to sue people who make products and get a monopoly on the words for whatever reason,” a fourth explained.
