ARIANA Grande has released the music video for one of the most popular tracks from her latest album, Eternal Sunshine.
The singer, who will star in the film adaptation of Wicked, released a short teaser of the video online.

Ariana gave fans a peek in the concept of the video for The Boy is Mine.
O scary clip features an unknown man in a bathroom. After putting down his drink, he throws a bag of ice into the sink, before dipping his head in there.
However, this is followed by a pair of dark hands with long dark nails slowly opening the bathroom door.
The screen then shows the title, The Boy is Mine, and the release date, June 7th.
Fans in the comments section were ready.

HIDDEN MEANING?
The Boy is Mine is the third single from Eternal Sunshine, which many fans say is about Ariana’s failed marriage to Dalton Gomez.
US Sun reviewed her first new album in four years, saying the artist has found her voice once again.
“While the album follows Ariana’s tried-and-true method of sugary pop sounds, complete with soaring vocals, this new release is easily her most vulnerable and raw work.

GOODBYE: An upbeat breakup track about finally ending her relationship with ex-husband Dalton Gomez. Confirming that the track is biographical, Ariana mentions the name of her childhood friend Courtney Chipolone.
Top lyric: “At least I know how hard we tried, both you and me. So I get my things, Courtney parked in the garage, it’s time, bye. Maybe one day we will look back with love. I didn’t think you would lose me. Now it’s too late to choose me.”
ETERNAL SUNSHINE: The album’s title track is an infectiously catchy song about the two people moving on, with Ariana seemingly angered by the way her husband behaved during their time together, insinuating that he cheated on her.
Main lyrics: “I’ve never seen anyone lie like you. So much so that even you start to think it’s true. I showed you all my demons, all my lies. Yet you played me like Atari. So now we play our separate scenes. Now she’s in my bed, lying on her chest. Now I’m in my head, wondering how this ends.”
SUPERNATURAL: A sugary track about finding love, believed to be about falling in love with your Wicked co-star ETHAN SLATER – with some not-so-subtle words.

WE CAN NOT BE FRIENDS: Sure to be a hit, this track is about trying to keep your new love a secret – while falling head over heels.
Main lyrics: “I don’t want to tiptoe around, but I don’t want to hide. But I don’t want to fuel this monstrous fire. I just want to let this story die. You misunderstood me, but at least I look okay.
“On the opening track, Intro (End Of The World), Ariana sings: ‘How do I know if I’m in the right relationship? I’ve been thinking about it for about five weeks.

Undeniably a divorce album, rather than being filled with man-hating anthems, Eternal Sunshine is a journey through the stages of grief and losing someone you love. It covers everything from anger and annoyance to starting over and starting over.
IMPECCABLE REFERENCE
Ariana released her new album Eternal Sunshine on March 8, 2024.
She confirmed that her new album was inspired by one of her favorite films, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
The 2004 sci-fi romantic drama film stars Jim Carrey, whom Grande called “her first celebrity crush,” and Kate Winslet, who undergo a procedure to erase each other from their memories after a breakup.
Ariana also revealed that she had a “childhood crush” on Jim Carey during an interview on Live with Kelly and Michael in 2015.
To kick off her new musical era, Grande released two singles ahead of the release of her full album.
Yes it is? was the first single from her seventh studio album.
She then posted a short video promoting her second single, We Can’t Be Friends, on her Instagram.
The short clip is reminiscent of the film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and shows Ariana going through a consent form for a person, probably an ex, to be erased from her memory.
