Sturgill Simpson fights scalpers
Sturgill Simpson released a video sharing how he plans to combat scalpers as fans purchase pre-sale tickets today.
“The ‘Why not?’ tour has chosen not to use dynamic ticket pricing,” the video says.
“We will do everything in our power to keep tickets in the hands of fans and out of the hands of scalpers.
“We are checking our pre-sale registrations for bad actors, exchanging tickets at face value, and limiting the issuance of platinum tickets to combat scalpers and out-of-control pricing.”
