The Eagles announce Las Vegas residency at Sphere for eight shows as dates and ticket prices are revealed

The Eagles have officially announced their Las Vegas residency at the Sphere this fall.

The rock band, formed in 1971, will perform eight shows in four weeks.

Performances will take place from Friday, September 20th to Saturday, October 19th.

General admission tickets, starting at $175, will go on sale starting Friday, June 21 at 10 a.m. PT.

The Vibee Hotel and Experience Packages pre-sale package will also be available for purchase starting Friday, June 14th at 10am PT.

The Eagles’ residency at the new Las Vegas Sphere follows others from U2, Phish and Dead & Co.

The $2.3 billion venue opens in September 2023.

The Eagles have had a highly successful career, selling over 150 million albums.

They have also had six number one albums, won six Grammy Awards and five American Music Awards.

The group was also inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.

Some of his biggest hits include Take It Easy, Desperado, Lyin’ Eyes, Best of My Love and Hotel California.

The current members of the Eagles are Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit, along with Vince Gill and Deacon Frey, who are touring with the group.

Don was the original founder of the band alongside Randy Meisner, Bernie Leadon and Glenn Frey, while Timothy and Joe joined later.

Deacon is the son of Glenn, who passed away in 2016.

In 2017, the Eagles made their first concert appearance without Glenn, adding his son alongside country star Vince.

News of their residency comes as they recently launched their farewell tour last fall, The Long Goodbye.

The band played venues across the US, as well as in the UK and the Netherlands.

The band announced their upcoming show on Instagram, where fans expressed excitement at seeing them perform.

“OMG!!! This might be my first show at The Sphere!!!” one person commented.

“I can’t wait to see you again,” said a second.

“Holy shit I gotta go,” a third wrote, while a fourth added: “Yeah, see you there.”

Another commented on a gif that read: “Shut up and take my money!”
