Sabrina wants to present new songs

While Sabrina Carpenter was opening for Taylor Swift’s Ages tour, she spoke to Cosmopolitan about wanting to play new music.

She said: “I’m starting to feel like I’ve outgrown the songs I’m singing, which is always an exciting feeling because I think it means the next chapter is coming.”

During a meeting with Interview Magazinethe pop star also opened up about experimenting with different genres.

“I feel a lot more free and excited about what I’m doing now because I’ve realized that gender isn’t necessarily the most important thing,” she explained.

“It’s about honesty and authenticity and whatever you attract. There were a lot of genres on my last album, and I like to think I’ll stick with that when writing songs.”

What we know about Short n’ Sweet

Sabrina Carpenter’s sixth studio album is called Short n’ Sweet. The singer announced the album on June 3, 2024.

The singer revealed on Instagram that Short n’ Sweet will be released before the end of summer, on August 23, 2024, and is available to pre-order.

“Short n’ Sweet, MY NEW ALBUM WILL BE RELEASED ON AUGUST 23rd!!!! This project is very special to me and I hope it is something special for you too,” she wrote on social media.

The album is led by the single Espresso, which has dominated the airwaves.

  • November 2 – Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah
