Nelly, 45, uploaded a black and white photo of herself posing from behind with a big, shiny number “7” printed across her back.

She opted to go topless for the photo shoot, fully showing off the number while also showing off her toned physique.

The I’m Like A Bird singer looked to the side as she placed her thumb inside the waistband of her low-rise jeans.

Nelly accessorized the Y2K-inspired look with chunky bracelets and hoop earrings.

THE MEANING OF SEVEN

In the caption, the composer explained the album’s creation process and why she chose such a simple title for her seventh album.

“This is going to sound weird and stupid, but it’s not work for me. It’s super personal. Music is my whole language and life and love and blessing, so sometimes it’s hard for me to wrap it up in a bow.” she started.

Nelly said it took four years to create the album, as well as several cities and a large “army” of collaborators.

“I’ve made between 400 and 500 pieces of music in 4 years. My ADHD doesn’t always allow me to organize creations in a methodical way, so it’s difficult to explain how we chose 14 songs that magically rose to the top of the list,” she added.

“Phew – they come together just by being in the same collection, 7, like random shells that may be similar but not at all alike.”

Every time Nelly doubted herself during the album’s creation, she said she would “see the number ‘7’ everywhere.”

While “7” may be significant to the artist, others have shared their differing opinions – with one even calling the new title “kind of boring” on Twitter. X.

However, others noted how special the number is.

“Seven is a magical number, Nel! Congratulations!” one person wrote in their Instagram announcement.

“Sacred 7.. is special [clapping] Nelly,” wrote a second, while a third noted how this was her “angel number.”
