AMERICA’S Got Talent fans criticized the first live episode of the show’s season after the delirious audience made it impossible to hear the judges
On Tuesday night, the AGT live quarterfinals kicked off as fans watched various acts give it their all in Los Angeles.
After each spectacular performance, fans felt that the crowd seemed louder than usual.
At the start of the second hour of the reality show, fans were greeted by a dance team from Los Osos High School in Rancho Cucamonga, California, just outside of Los Angeles.
At the end of the performance, the audience went so crazy that it almost drowned out what the four judges had to say.
JUDGES’ OPINIONS
Heidi Klum was the first to speak, saying, “I’m here for this! I love you.”
Heidi exclaimed, “Oh my God!” before turning and looking at the huge wave of spectators standing, cheering and applauding.
The model continued: “These are your parents! I give you two thumbs up because you can’t hear anything I’m telling you.”
AGT host Terry Crews asked Sofia Vergara, “Can you talk about this?”
The former Modern Family star said, “I don’t think I need to say anything. I’ve never seen this theater go so crazy.”
Terry then admitted that he couldn’t hear himself.
Simon Cowell told the group of teenage dancers it was a “huge step forward” from auditioning.
Meanwhile, the audience booed Howie Mandel, who was not a fan of the dance.
“The event was a high school halftime show,” the former Deal or No Deal host said.
He also said that the crowd was very loud because of the families of the dancers who were there and that it all comes down to America’s vote.
‘NONE WERE SO BIG’
Viewers at home shared their honest opinions at Tuesday’s hearing.
America’s Got Talent judges
THOUSANDS of candidates took to the America’s Got Talent stage to show off their skills.
“Shut up public, I can’t hear the microphone!” a user X exclaimed in all caps.
A second admitted: “The screaming audience is literally ruining everything. Slightly unpleasant reaction to some of the acts.
“They were all great, but none were THAT good.”
Someone mentioned: “I want to hear how the audience listens to these acts, because the broadcast audio sucks.
“The singers are drowned out by the backing track and the audience won’t shut up. You would think they would solve these problems because we are the ones voting.”
“The audience cheering so much is ridiculous,” raged a fourth AGT viewer.
Live episodes of America’s Got Talent continue on Wednesday.
