BELOW Deck producers fired a beloved crew member and left his castmates devastated.
The decision to let Chef Anthony go was discussed on Monday’s episode of Below Deck after guests complained about his service.

Captain Kerry made the decision and revealed his intentions on camera.
Chef Anthony allegedly ignored preference sheets and failed to accommodate guests’ dietary needs.
The reality star also delayed a beach picnic and didn’t deliver on the meals she promised her clients.
“To make amazing food, I have to be very happy and very sad,” Anthony said at the beginning of the episode.
“So my food sucks.”
Chief Commissioner Fraser Olender initially aired his grievances on camera.
“This isn’t just affecting my team. It’s rocking the boat and I know this tip is going to be bad,” Fraser said.
“Most of my time at the moment is spent with Chef, begging him to do his job correctly and keeping him in line.
“There just isn’t room for me to care for him as much as I am. I don’t have time for that,” she concluded.
Featured guests only left a small tip, which Fraser said was “embarrassing.”
Fraser then reported to Captain Kerry and said that Anthony had ignored his preference charts and that the food had lost “any sense of superyacht standard”.
Later that episode, Kerry told Anthony she was letting him go.
HARD GOODBYE
“Every day that Anthony was on the boat, I had to guide him. And I’m okay with that if you learn from everything we talked about,” Kerry explained.
“If one person can’t run at the same speed as the rest of us, we have to leave them behind.”
Kerry also tried to squash any bad feelings between him and Anthony.
“I think you’re an amazing chef. Your food is absolutely incredible. But you’re starting to fall apart,” Kerry told Anthony.
“Don’t you see where things are wrong with the service? To begin with, feeding the crew was not a priority. The food was late.
“You are making mistakes and you are not prepared. I see guests not satisfied with what you are doing. This is not the environment for you.
“You are not thriving,” he concluded.
Anthony disagreed with Kerry’s reasoning and said he felt fine.
APPLATIZING BACK
“I do not know what you’re talking about. I know I made a small mistake, but I’m human.
“So why do people tell me every day that I’m the most amazing chef in the world? [are] full of shit or…?” he concluded.
“Being a chef on a superyacht is more than just being an amazing chef,” Kerry responded.
“If I stay with you any longer, I will set you up for disaster. I’m doing you a favor. I have a lot of respect for you.”
“It’s heartbreaking. I don’t like it at all. The staff started to realize that the chef was failing us. If I carried on like this, morale would be terrible and I can’t allow that,” Kerry added.

Anthony told the cameras he hoped to use this as a great learning experience.
“I love them all and I will miss them so much. The only thing I need is to cook for people. It’s the only thing that makes me happy,” he shared.
“I’m going back like a crazy son of a bitch. I will definitely return to the game.”
Fans took to X, formerly Twitter, to express their sadness at the star’s departure.
“I feel really bad for Anthony, but it’s clear he was struggling. I hope he comes back better than ever,” wrote one fan.
“Me watching Anthony get fired,” added another with a video of several women crying.
JUMPING FROM THE SHIP?
Anthony’s departure came after another fan favorite left his job for a rival television show.
Captain Lee, 47, is heading to Bravo competitor Oxygen to star in a new true crime series.
The sailor stepped down after the tenth season of Below Deck because of his health issues, Deadline reported at the time.
Captain Lee has guided the reality show’s ships for the past ten years.
Now he will be the main figure in Oxygen’s Deadly Waters, a television show that chronicles murders that occur in “open waters and oceans,” Deadline outlined.
During the fifth episode of season 10, the Stud of the Sea confessed “My injury is getting worse. On the left side of my body I don’t feel anything.
“I expected much more progress than I am experiencing. The most frustrating part about this is that I can’t do anything about it, and it’s hard.
“The pain is getting worse, not better. I owe it to my team to do right by them. They expect that from me.”
