Triston’s Countryyy
Triston sang Jason Aldean’s country hit She’s Country, originally released in 2009, the year Triston was born.
Triston chose the song because it reminded him of driving a car and listening to it with his mother as a child.
“You incorporated last week’s notes, thank you for being a student of this game,” Katy said.
Luke joked that Triston was trying to “spin” him.

Triston is honoring his roots
Triston is singing a Jason Aldean track in his Top 10 performance.
He opened up to Shania about growing up struggling with homelessness. His first steps were on the streets while trying to help his mother earn money.
Shania could relate because she grew up in women’s shelters.
Fans are thrilled
Fans are thrilled after finally seeing Just Sam have his moment on the Idol stage.
Them giving Just Sam his winning moment of confetti and lights four years after the complicated COVID season was wonderful. Good at #American Idol for this.
