The US Sun previously reported that the American Pickers star planned to open a restaurant where a former wine bar once stood.

Now, US Sun can exclusively reveal that the restaurant remains closed five months after construction is complete in November 2023.

A city source said: “It used to be a vintage wine bar and lounge. They closed and Mike Wolfe bought and built it.

“It’s just sitting there. I don’t know what they’re doing with it.”

MIKE’S VISION

US Sun previously revealed photos of the final outdoor product from November 2023.

The front of the restaurant features a wooden pergola with lights streaming from the beams.

There are gray pavers under the pergola with concrete for the rest of the space.

The fire pit area also has paving as there is a brick bench for patrons to sit around the fire.

There are raised floors that will serve as a stage for karaoke and artists.

The outdoor area is lined with a black metal gate and brick planters with bushes, as well as other green areas.

According to property records seen by The US Sun, Mike dropped $600,000 on the property on September 15, 2022.

The 976-square-meter red and white building, built in 1953, remains untouched as the interior contains construction materials.

COLOMBIAN FOOD

The US Sun previously obtained photos from when the property was under construction.

A source said at the time: “It’s going to be a restaurant. They will sell pizza, soda, that kind of thing.

“Construction workers are building a karaoke stage, a fire pit and a pergola in front of the building.”

Mike even stopped by the property on the morning of November 3rd to check on the progress.

In photos obtained by The US Sun, Mike was seen showing workers exactly what to do to execute his vision.

‘MEMORIES FOR THE COMING YEARS’

Mike kept his Instagram followers updated on the progress by posting a photo on Instagram of the outside of the building with construction workers hard at work in November.

He captioned the photo: “Time to choose plants for the 1940s Esso Station Courtyard project. This property will have an intimate and unique experience in the heart of the @visitcolumbia TN historic district.

“Come see everything this little town has to offer. Big thanks to @tmoney_design for helping make all the green decisions.”

He also posted in late November: “When I arrived in Columbia TN 6 years ago, this building immediately caught my eye. Through all the changes over the years, this little Esso Service Station has managed to weather the storm.

“A lot of these places were ripped out of the ground. Erasing a large part of the history of transportation in America. I feel incredibly blessed to have had the opportunity to reimagine how this property could continue to serve the community. This outdoor space will create memories for years to come.”

KING OF COLOMBIA

Also in town is Mike’s vacation rental, Two Lanes, and his garage, Columbia Motor Alley.

The American Pickers star is working to breathe new life into the small town, which is about an hour south of Nashville.

According to property records, a commercial property leased to Hazelwood Laboratories is 4,320 square feet and valued at $214,100.

Mike also became the owner of a 2,900 square foot property worth $192,700 that Muletown Coffee rents.

Another commercial property is 4,653 square feet and valued at $336,300.

The space is a theater called the Packard Playhouse.

Mike also purchased a 3,166-square-foot home with three bathrooms for $700,000 on May 20, 2021 in the small town.

A source told The US Sun that Mike’s project to renovate Columbia is “costing $93 million.”

The source added, “The city is happy Mike is taking this on to help bring new life to Columbia.”
