Candace attended Wesleyan University and graduated with a degree in Economics.

She moved to San Francisco, California for graduate school to become an investment banker, but became unemployed after the market crash in 2001.

Her situation inspired her to do what she loved and decided to enroll in a pastry school.

Candace then opened a bakery where the idea for her company Sprinkles was born.

Meet Candace Nelson

Candace Nelson is tonight’s guest judge and could become a new business partner for hopeful entrepreneurs.

She was born in Indonesia and moved there as a child.

Candace was fascinated by cooking growing up, but was raised to follow a corporate path, so she decided to do both!
