DANCING With the Stars’ Gleb Savchenko opened up about taking a break with his co-stars after his 64-stop tour in an exclusive interview with The US Sun.
Gleb, 40, wrapped up the DWTS Live 2024 tour at the end of March after kicking off the multi-city show in early January.
Before that, the Russia native was a part of DWTS season 32 with partner Mira Sorvino, but was sent home in the fifth week.
Gleb admitted to The US Sun that he needs a “break” from his co-stars, especially as they have been by each other’s side over the past few months.
“I’m in touch with them. We just broke up a month ago, so we all want a little break,” he confessed.
“We were stuck on the same bus for four months in total, so we didn’t want to see each other, but we still connected.”

In fact, Gleb invited his co-stars to watch him as he hosted Chippendales for a limited engagement in Las Vegas.
Emma Slater, Britt Stewart and Ezra Sosa showed up in Sin City the weekend of May 4 to support their friend as he undressed on stage.
While he’s not sure if he’ll be asked to return to DWTS Season 33 — the cast typically doesn’t find out until weeks before the fall premiere — he said he’s not ready to hang up his ballroom shoes just yet.
When asked if he would leave DWTS to pursue a career like Chippendales full-time, he said he would love to do both.
“I don’t think I would leave Dancing With the Stars to do Chippendales, but I would do both,” he commented.
WHO’S COMING BACK?
Season 32 pros included Gleb, Emma, Britt, Val Chmerkovskiy, Daniella Karagach, Pasha Pashkov, Artem Chigvintsev, Sasha Farber, Peta Murgatroyd, Jenna Johnson, Alan Bersten, Brandon Armstrong, Koko Iwasaki and newcomer Rylee Arnold.
US Sun exclusively revealed earlier this year that hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro will return.
As for the professional dancers returning to ABC and Disney+ shows, their fate is unknown until the “last week of August,” according to Gleb.
He also insisted he wasn’t sure, but suggested there could be changes.
“A friend of mine told me yesterday, ‘The show will definitely, at some point, undergo a revamp,’” Gleb shared.

“And facelift, which means it has to be updated maybe with dancers or something. But I’ll tell you what, even though I’m 40, I don’t look 40.”
“I don’t feel like I’m 40. I’m in the best shape of my life…I look like I’m 30. And this is my prime time,” he continued.
“For me, this is the best time I can ask for and just continue what I’m doing. And yes, I don’t think I need a facelift yet.”
‘SUPPORTIVE’ FAMILY
Although Gleb has said he needs a “break” from his DWTS castmates, he previously referred to them as a “big dysfunctional family.”
“We’re a family… We love each other. Everyone’s very supportive. We love each other very much,” he said.
When asked about any off-screen connections – Emma was linked to Alan – he played coy and said, “No comment on that.”
That’s not to say that professionals would be friendly with each other if they could someday choose their own celebrity partners.
“I would! Imagine what kind of fight we would have with all the other professionals?” he joked.
“I would say, ‘No, this is my partner.’ And Val said, ‘No, I’m dancing with her.’
“And I would say, ‘No, you won last season. Did you have Xochitl [Gomez]. To give [the Mirror Ball Trophy] for me!'”
For next season, he is hoping for a partner who is “hardworking,” someone with “a little dance experience,” and someone who is “not too old,” “hot,” and “good to look at.”
In the meantime, Gleb will continue hosting Chippendales in Las Vegas until May 12th and then be in Atlantic City, New Jersey from July 18th to 21st.
He also plans to visit his children in Hong Kong this summer, where the girls live and compete in dance competitions.
Gleb shares joint custody of his daughters Olivia, 13, and Zlata, six, with his ex Elena Samodanova, whom he divorced in 2020.
