AMERICAN Pickers stars in Frank Fritz’s Illinois antique store has seen better days since the collector recovered from his stroke in 2022, The US Sun can exclusively reveal.
Frank, 60, owns Frank Fritz Finds in Savanna, Illinois, and the store was photographed full of dead insects, a peeling ceiling and holes in the floorboards.
Exclusive photos obtained by The US Sun show worsening conditions at Frank’s store.
In one photo, a thick spider web remained in a corner with insects trapped in the silk.
Dust, dirt, and dead leaves accumulated on the dilapidated floorboards.
There were many holes in the uneven floor panels and paint chips were falling from the ceiling.
Despite the store’s poor lighting, dust accumulated on several items was still visible.
A dead insect was trapped inside a display case.
‘BETTER, FRANK’
Fans have been vocal about their observations about the American Pickers star’s degrading store.
“Needs more stuff…get better Frank,” one fan posted on Google.
“[The] The place is a little run down, but the prices are very reasonable,” said a second visitor.
“We were in the store in February and were very disappointed with what we saw,” complained a third fan.
“What a mess!” a fourth exclaimed.
“There is a horrible musty smell everywhere, including the restaurant,” yet a fifth commented on Yelp.

SPRING CLEANING?
The US Sun obtained several photos of worsening store conditions in recent months.
In January, an exclusive set of photos revealed a wooden floor sinking into the ground.
In November and August last year, more photos highlighted windows with stained glass and cloudy windows.
The beginning of the worsening of the cobwebs was also portrayed at the time.
FRANK IS GIVING HIMSELF
Frank has been in and out of rehab since September 6, 2022, when he was released from the hospital due to his stroke on July 14, 2022.
Because of his serious health problem, close friends requested an emergency appointment of a temporary guardian and conservator for the star on August 18.
“Sir. Fritz’s decision-making ability is so impaired that he is unable to make, communicate or execute important decisions regarding his financial affairs,” the guardianship documents state.
MidWestOne Bank was appointed conservator handling Frank’s finances.
The petitioner requested that Frank’s “long-time friend,” Chris, be his guardian.
Chris “has been helping him make decisions since his stroke,” the US Sun reporter said at the time.
IN YOUR OWN TIME
A source close to Frank’s loved ones said the star is recovering at his own pace.
“He has been working hard to not overdo it, stress himself out and honor his health,” the source said.
“He’s not exaggerating and trying to prove anything to himself,” the source shared and continued, “[Frank is] honoring what needs to be now.”
“He is in the nursing home undergoing physical therapy,” the source revealed.
“I hope he recovers,” said the source and concluded optimistically: “I have faith he will.”
