VANDERPUMP Rules was rejected by NBCUniversal Upfronts amid rumors of the show’s cancellation, The US Sun can exclusively reveal.
The NBCUniversal Upfronts took place on Monday, May 13 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

The star-studded performance featured NBC TV personalities including Jimmy Fallon, Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kodb, Kelly Clarkson and Seth Meyers.
Andy Cohen made a special appearance to discuss what’s coming up on his show Watch What Happens Live.
The star shared that WWHL will be on the road for a week of shows across the country and will host an intimate fan festival with some well-known Housewives during the tour.
He mentioned BravoCon’s return in 2025, but didn’t address why there isn’t a BravoCon this year.

Andy also did not speak to VPR, despite the three-party meeting beginning on Tuesday, May 14th.
The reality show was not mentioned during the network’s TV schedule, although returning shows and new shows were featured during the two-hour presentation.
When Late Night host Seth Meyers took the stage, he mentioned The Valley, the VPR spinoff, but didn’t talk about VPR.
Instead, he made a joke about star Tom Sandoval and his affair with Rachel Leviss.
“Bravo announced that Vanderpump Rules spin-off The Valley has been renewed for another season,” he told the audience.
“They also learned something from Tom Sandoval and are waiting to find out if it’s contagious.”
The joke is likely about Tom sleeping with multiple women since he cheated on his longtime girlfriend, Ariana Madix, with Rachel months before the news broke.
A representative for Bravo responded to The US Sun’s request for comment on this story.
“There were VPR clips shown as much as any other unscripted show.
“This was not an early Bravo, so unscripted was a small part, and in fact, there were more mentions of VPR than any other program in the speaker’s monologues.”
In 2023, during a conversation with Scheana Shay on VPR, Tom confirmed that he cheated on Ariana twice and added, “There was another time… I’m not going to get into that.”
Tom is now dating model Victoria Lee Robinson.

Since production typically begins in May and films until July, the channel said Bravo will return with VPR “in due course.”
The reason is because they are giving the cast some time off to do their own thing and then hopefully when filming resumes there will be “some big developments and new drama.”
Although Bravo has not commented on the report, Andy spoke about Season 12 during a recent episode of his Sirius XM show.
“We used to do this all the time with housewives. We’d say, ‘You know what? Let’s put cameras out for four or five months and come back to them and they’ll have lived their lives, things will be different.'” Andy admitted, referring to the Real Housewives.
He noted that cameras were immediately brought back to film the aftermath of Scandoval in season 10 and again three months later to begin filming season 11.
“Sometimes you want to get to the cameras quickly because there are things going on and you want to get in there right away.
“And sometimes you want people to live their lives and see how things develop and you know, so, I think it’s a really good idea,” he continued.
ARIANA EXIT TIP
It’s unclear who from the Season 11 cast will return for Season 12. In addition to Tom, this season starred Ariana, Katie Maloney, James Kennedy, Lala Kent, Tom Schwartz and Scheana.
Fans believe Ariana, who is also in a new relationship with Daniel Wai, has hinted that she will not be returning after removing VPR from her Instagram profile.
The TV personality is instead promoting her other projects: Love Island USA, which she will host starting in June, her snack bar Something About Her, Drink From Home Cocktails and her book Single AF Cocktails.
During the VPR finale, Ariana refused to film with her ex Tom after he tried to confront her to apologize.
“He doesn’t give a shit if I died in a ditch or got a deadly STD the way he was playing behind my back,” she screamed at a producer while breaking the fourth wall.
“That’s uninformed consent and he doesn’t deserve to talk to me. He doesn’t have access to me. It’s a performance for the audience. He wants 30 seconds with the audience.”
The drama continues when the VPR reunion begins May 14 at 8pm ET/PT on Bravo.
