At the end of the episode, Luke, Ryan Seacrest and the crew members persuaded the two co-judges to give Jack a yes.

About his time on the show, Jack said Stop: “It’s difficult to put [my journey] in words because it started with the biggest no I’ve received so far.

“So, I really didn’t have much expectation going into Hollywood week, much less being in the Top 10 of the series.

“So it’s crazy to still be here. I’m very grateful for that.

“I’ve been doing this for a minute and singing for a long time.

“I know where my path is at this moment and therefore I am confident in following with what I know and what I believe in.

How can I watch American Idol?

On May 19, 2024, American Idol concludes its 22nd season.

The three-hour finale is set to air at 8pm via ABC.

For those who don’t have cable TV, the finale will air on Fubo TV or the broadcaster’s official website.

The next day, the episode will be available to stream on Hulu.

“I had no expectations of going on the show and winning it,” Jack shared with the aforementioned outlet.

“Just being able to be on a platform like this is a blessing.

“It’s hard, I’ve been writing songs for a long time, and finding a platform of people who will listen to your music is the hardest part.

“If I get cut in the next round, I will feel blessed for the platform.

“This isn’t the end of my career, it’s the beginning of it, I hope, using this as a springboard for what comes next.”
