Leslie Fhima seemed to be the fan favorite choice for the new Bachelorette instead of Joan.
In the Instagram trailer, a thin woman wearing a form-fitting gold sequin dress picks up a golden rose that has been placed on a table.
The camera followed her from behind until she turned around and revealed her face.
Joan smiled at the camera and held up her rose.

“I’m Joan and I’m your first golden bachelorette,” she told the camera before posing.
“Introducing your first Golden Bachelorette,” the post captioned.
Fans flooded the comments with mixed reactions to the announcement, as some believed Leslie should have gotten the job.
“No Leslie? Bad choice, ABC. Joan is good, but she left the show early,” wrote one follower.
“I’m skeptical…sorry…” added another.
