The winner of American Idol has been announced.
On Sunday night, fans watched the Top 3: Will Moseley, Abi Carter and Jack Blocker fight for the Idol title.
Halfway through the show, Jack was announced by host Ryan Seacrest, 49, as the third runner-up.
Following her career-changing journey on the singing competition series, Abi was crowned the winner of season 22.
Moments after Ryan called her name as the winner, she sang the song she auditioned with: What Was I Made For by Billie Eilish.
Billie herself even sent Abi a video wishing her good luck in her career.

However, many viewers were disappointed that second-placed Will didn’t win.
‘I WANT THE WILL TO WIN’
On X, formerly Twitter, fans shared their honest opinions.
One angry viewer said: “I see Abi got all the teenagers calling their friends to vote. I’m not impressed with her win at all!!!”
“I wanted Will Moseley to win. Abi Carter sounds like so many other singers,” exclaimed another.
A third person tweeted: “No way Abi Carter is better than Will and I’m not even a fan of country music!
“The solution came when Billie Eilish voted,” a fourth viewer theorized.
“Will was robbed, he was the best singer,” said a fifth.
A sixth said: “I’ll say it once and that’s it. Will Mosley won in my eyes.”
“Will should have won. He will have a better career,” said another person.
