SATURDAY Night Live angered fans with steamy promos for the show featuring Sabrina Carpenter in teeny blue lingerie.

Over the weekend, pop singer Sabrina, 25, served as musical guest while actor Jake Gyllenhaal, 43, hosted the season 49 finale.

On SNL, the hitmaker performed her popular track Espresso, as well as a medley of Feather and Nonsense.

The singer also took part in the hilarious Scooby-Doo sketch and dressed up as cartoon character Daphne Blake.

In the wild and bloody skit, Mystery Inc. investigators stumble into several deadly traps after unmasking the scary villain.

And now, the NBC show has uploaded a behind-the-scenes video with the pop star to its Instagram account.

More about Sabrina Carpenter

In the brief clip, the Fast Times artist ditched her clothes and modeled in blue lingerie.

She showed off her long, bare legs as she strutted her stuff in crystal-clear high heels.

Sabrina played with her cleavage while wearing a robe with fluffy blue feathers.

Her long hair flowed in waves down to her breasts.

As the sexy video continued, Sabrina relaxed in her underwear while playing with kittens.

THE RETURN

In the comments section, critics criticized the show for making the former child star show off her bare skin.

“Why don’t male presenters have to do an underwear photo shoot for promotions?”. one critic asked.

“Is it necessary to do a lingerie photo shoot for a comedy show?? It seems inappropriate,” criticized another critic.

“Because is [Sabrina] doing a lingerie photo shoot for a comedy show?” argued a third critic.

“Female musical guest posing in a Victoria’s Secret spread is now a requirement,” a fourth person scoffed.

Sabrina was always the golden girl growing up, and people still see her as an innocent little girl rather than an almost 25 year old woman, it’s like they don’t want her to change.

“When I see her, I think of her as the kid from Girl Meets World!” one commenter chimed in, referencing her previous Disney show.

‘THE GOLDEN GIRL’

This isn’t the only time the actress-turned-singer has stripped down to her lingerie.

In early April, Sabrina stunned in a sexy photo shoot for Kim Kardashian’s Skims campaign.

A source spoke to The US Sun about the TV star’s desire to shed her good girl image and “be taken seriously.”

“Sabrina was always the golden girl growing up, and people still see her as an innocent little girl instead of an almost 25-year-old woman, it’s like they don’t want her to change,” the source shared.

“She hates the perfect Disney image and all the connotations that come with it.

“Just because she played a certain character back then doesn’t mean she’s like that in real life.”

“Being a Disney child star has its pros and cons, but it’s not how she wants to be known, and this role in Skims is going to change everything,” the source concluded.
