SURVIVOR Season 43 winner Mike Gabler was accused of liking a post about the death of George Floyd.
The reality TV star explained her reasoning in a tweet.

A Survivor fan who runs an X, former Twitter page, posted that Mike, 53, liked a troubling post.
In the image, Derek Chauvin, the former police officer who killed George Floyd, was seen from the side, standing next to a car.
A gas station sign was on the other side with the price of gas circled.
The reading was $1.89.
“I can’t believe it’s been four years already,” the photo caption read.
The fan page reposted this and a photo of Mike on Survivor.
“Survivor 43 winner Mike Gabler liked a tweet mocking George Floyd’s death,” the caption read. publish.
However, Mike defended himself and explained why he liked the post.
“No. Of course not,” he tweeted.
“I was commenting on the doubling of gas prices and didn’t realize this was George Floyd’s tweet because of the giant red circle around gas prices?!?”
“I was referring to gas prices. Ridiculous. Get a life,” the Survivor star concluded.
The tweet came from a page called “End Wokeness”.

George Floyd died on May 25, 2020, at age 46.
His death sparked the Black Lives Matter movement after video showed Office Chauvin kneeling on George’s neck and back as he begged him to leave.

As his air supply was being cut off, he could be heard saying in the video, “I can’t breathe,” but the former officer did not move from his neck.
The police came to arrest George because a teenage grocery store employee called 911 after he was accused of using a counterfeit $20 bill to buy cigarettes.
A medical examiner ruled George’s death a homicide, saying his heart stopped when police restrained him and compressed his neck.
The cause of his death was listed as “cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint and neck compression,” according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office.
DEREK ARRESTED
Derek was convicted of two counts of murder in June 2021.
He was convicted of the most serious charge under Minnesota law, which carries a maximum sentence of 40 years.
Derek was sentenced to 22 and a half years in prison for second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and manslaughter.
In November 2023, Derek was stabbed in prison and was seriously injured.
