BRAVO announced that production on Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard has halted after two seasons, worrying fans.
Viewers fear the show, starring Nick Arrington, Jasmine Ellis Cooper, Jordan Emanuel, Bria Fleming, Shanice Henderson, Amir Lancaster, Preston Mitchum, Summer Marie Thomas, Alex Tyree and Noelle Hughly, will not return.
Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard has not been canceled, however, according to Deadline.
Although the program has not been approved for a third season, the channel reports that it is on pause.
No reason to suspend production has been given at this time.
Season two of Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard concluded on Sunday, May 26th.
The show ended with a special reunion hosted by Andy Cohen, which didn’t happen in the season one finale.
Bravo recently cut several reality shows from its schedule, including Winter House.
HARD REALITY
Both Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard and Winter House are spin-offs of the popular Summer House series.
The original show followed a group of friends who lived in New York City and gathered every weekend in a shared house in the wealthy Hamptons.
While Winter House followed the same group of friends in a different season and setting, Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard featured an entirely new cast in a new location.
In addition to halting production on these two shows, Bravo also announced that Vanderpump Rules will not go into production during its normal filming schedule.
The network decided to delay filming the show’s 12th season in the wake of Scandoval – a cheating scandal involving stars Tom Sandoval, his girlfriend of nearly a decade, Ariana Madix, and their co-star Rachel Leviss.
What a boring summer
Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard fans reacted to the unfortunate news on social media.
Many were upset with the network, suggesting that Bravo placed unrealistic expectations on the show’s cast.
“Regular Summer House has been one of the most boring shows on the network. It took them EIGHT YEARS to have a notable run. Yet they want Martha’s Vineyard to be a box office success after two short seasons?” one critic complained.
Summer House saw record ratings this season as people tuned in to watch the end of Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke’s relationship.
Awwwwww mannnnn Family Karma, Winter House and now Summer House Martha’s Vineyard. And I still have hope that Southern Charm New Orleans will return. Just put these shows on Peacock like they did with Real Housewives of Miami.”

Real Housewives of Miami went on hiatus in 2013 and returned in 2021.
Not everyone was shocked and saddened by the news.
“I’m not surprised by this. The first season was amazing. I don’t know what happened but the cast is the problem with their off-camera machinations,” one viewer wrote.
