GOLDEN Bachelor star Gerry Turner has been brutally overshadowed by ex-girlfriends Susan Noles and Kathy Swarts following his split from Theresa Nist.
The Indiana native, 71, and his ex, 70, announced their split on April 12 after tying the knot in January in a television special.

During Tuesday’s episode of Single Happy Hour: Golden Hour podcast, hosted by Gerry’s ex-girlfriends Kathy, 71, and Susan, 67, covered the split between Gerry and his ex-wife Theresa, 70.
Kathy and Susan made their stance clear, supporting Theresa in the divorce.
Although Susan stated on the show that she needed to defend Gerry “a little bit” in the conversation, noting that Theresa refused to move or give up her job, she and Kathy ended up supporting their fellow Golden Bachelor contestant.
“He was frustrated, who could blame him? I would never have said I would move to that place. He lives in the middle of nowhere,” Susan said.
Kathy laughed a little at the ordeal, but stood firm by her friend’s side.
“Gerry made a big — let me emphasize a big — mistake. He could have stayed with Susan. He could have gotten me,” she said with a laugh before adding, “Okay, not really.”
She then added: “Gerry is a great guy. Theresa is a lovely lady, you know, it happens. Sorry, it happens.”
“We like them both, but you know, I’m sorry, you know someone for a month or six weeks and these things happen.”
Susan agreed, noting that their love was definitely “real.”

Gerry has suffered a lot since the split, with many flippers on Theresa’s side.
The backlash got to the point where the reality star’s daughter, Angie, had to step in and plead with critics.
Angie addressed hate towards his father in an Instagram post, begging fans to back off.
She shared a photo of a message that read, “Everything always works out in the end,” along with a long post she wrote.

Theresa and Gerry were married in January live on ABC. Four months later, the two announced that they were divorcing.

Gerry’s father Everett, 92, also revealed he didn’t fully agree to the marriage.
“I couldn’t say why [but] Right off the bat, Theresa pissed me off,” he told The US Sun exclusively.
Gerry and Theresa got engaged during the November 30 season finale of Golden Bachelor.
Gerry was adamant during his GMA appearance announcing his divorce that he still had feelings for Theresa.
“I still love this person,” he said. “I have no doubt that I am still in love with her.”
Theresa shared a similar sentiment and the couple held hands during the interview.
