The husband/wife duo sat tightly between the passenger seats.

The Counting On alum donned jeans as she stretched her long legs across her husband’s lap.

Joy kicked off her shoes as she placed her sockless foot in Austin’s hand, her toes almost touching the tray.

“Flying to Colorado,” she captioned the post and added an airplane emoji.

THE RETURN

In an online thread, fans took to the comments section and criticized the star for her allegedly “rude and filthy” move.

“I fly a lot. These are the people who make flying suck. It’s also rude. At least keep going [feet] under the seat and not falling into the aisle,” scoffed one reviewer.

“Joy has always had a thing against shoes. I don’t get it, but whatever it is, it’s unpleasant to do on a plane,” another reviewer added.

“I’m also a barefoot person with chronically dirty feet. Sure, I wash them a lot, but I wear proper footwear when I have to, unlike Joy,” criticized another reviewer.

“This is a move by Joy. It’s like she never learned manners,” said a fourth person.

“It’s so gross! Joy, if you want to take your shoes off on any flight, keep your feet out of the aisle,” one commenter said.

VISIT COLORADO

After the plane landed, the TLC star shared her trip to Colorado in a series of Instagram Stories.

In the first Story, the couple shared images of the hotel suite and the balcony overlooking the mountains.

On the balcony, the two hugged while looking into each other’s eyes.

As the stories continued, Joy shared a photo from her rafting trip.

They donned red life jackets and blue helmets as they posed with their companions.

The former TV star revealed that she got off the raft and fell into the freezing water.

“Whitewater rafting was scary and incredibly fun,” she wrote.

“I wanted to cry because we fell into 40-degree water.”

“ILY (I love you),” she closed.

The TV personalities appeared to have traveled without their three children: Gideon, six, Evelyn, three, and Gunner, nine months.
