Vanderpump Rules’ Lisa takes a ‘swipe’ at Tom Sandoval as fans think she ‘took over’ his bar in ruthless Pride Month move

LISA Vanderpump turned heads with a hilariously thinly veiled chess move against Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz.

The Vanderpump Rules star covered the TomTom Bar sign in West Hollywood with rainbow flags to kick off Pride Month in the shade.

Lisa, it seems, made it impossible to recognize the TomTom bar – partially owned by Sandoval and Tom Schwartz.

On June 2, viewers were surprised to see that the bar’s famous sign — Lisa helped open the place and is still the boss — was gone.

The place where the TomTom sign would normally be was completely covered in rainbow flags.

Fans took to social media, sharing photos of the cover-up, thinking that Lisa was clearly behind it and wants to take control of them.

‘SHE WANTED TO DO IT’

“I’m at #Pride in LA and I just passed PUMP. TomTom is hilariously covered in banners!! LVP was totally made to do this,” one X user wrote.

“It’s the beginning of the end for Tom Tom. I think it will all be Pump by the end of the year,” wrote another.

“LVP is ruthless,” joked a third.

“Wow, Vanderpump covered the TomTom logo out of pride,” commented a fourth.

Lisa’s iconic restaurant, Pump, was a few doors down from TomTom; closed a few years ago.

However, with a large stake in the business, she placed the Pump sign next to the bar for no reason.

Both Toms said on the show that neither of them knew about the sign being put up and they weren’t happy about it.

BAD FOR BUSINESS

After Scandoval’s news of Tom’s betrayal broke, Lisa didn’t mince words about the impact on TomTom’s business.

“We talked about it a lot,” she said Us weekly in January.

“There is a lot of negative reaction and I don’t [quite] I guess the punishment fits the crime when it’s the whole world against you.”

Following news that Tom cheated on Ariana Madix in March 2023, furious fans wrote negative reviews and urged people to avoid any of the bars.

At the time, Tom begged fans not to attack his loved ones in a statement.

“Hey, I completely understand and I deserve your anger and disappointment in me, but please leave [Tom] Schwartz, my friends and family, get us out of this situation…” he wrote.

Tom then clarified that Schwartz, his best friend and longtime business partner, only learned of his infidelity “very recently” and “did not condone” his behavior.

“This was a very personal thing. Also, Schwartz & Sandy’s may have my name on it, but there are also three other partners and 20 employees, who especially depend on the restaurant to provide income for them and their families,” Tom said, referring to to its new bar and TomTom, which debuted in 2018.

He apologized to his partners and said “sorry for everything”.

‘LISA WANTS THEM OUT’

Fans recently took to Reddit theorizing that Lisa is clearly trying to take over the bar with Pump, unfortunately no longer.

“I think the low-key Lisa and Ken offered the Toms their money back because they really wanted to cut ties with them and own the restaurant,” one fan posted.

“I think Lisa and Ken are strengthening the ship and trimming the fat. We’ll see if Pandy’s husband survives the deep cleaning,” wrote another.

“I agree that she wants them to leave now“, wrote a third.

“I think she wanted to leave when she saw Scamdoval bleeding money. She’s a smart businesswoman, but I also think she saw that they were really sinking—she wanted to give them a way out because I don’t see S&S succeeding.

“They are already down,” they added.
