The outrage among viewers comes as The Real Housewives of New Jersey announced it would not be doing a reunion in Season 14 – the first time since 2009.
This also comes as VPR ends its 12th season with no solidified plans to film new episodes, as the cast needs time to “reset,” according to showrunner Alex Baskin.
The network has expanded its library over the years, with shows like Summer House and Southern Charm, and several spinoffs like Below Deck Med and The Valley.
However, people have been weighing in on Bravo’s current direction, while also suggesting it start with new shows and new faces.
TIME TO CHANGE?
Fans have been thinking about X, formerly Twitter, after seeing recent news about the network.
“Bravo is in shambles. They need an overhaul. Change the contracts to include stricter rules on filming, stop letting the OGs and favorites walk away and get away with it,” one person tweeted.
“Have the same standards for everyone! Bring reality back and no more cast production,” they added.
“The shows were built on interesting women, with careers, wealth, families. If you hire interesting women, you don’t have to manufacture and overproduce,” she countered a second.
“I agree. I’ve been watching #bravo since day one, but I’ve lost interest. The new shows are good and the old shows are too dramatic. The HW franchise isn’t giving us the normal human interactions that drew so many of us into it. #TheValley is different, but it will last, I don’t know,” wrote a third.
“Change production contracts too. Make it so producers can’t block talent either. (VPR isn’t the first.) If production doesn’t understand something, keep it off the air. (Hello, RHOP). Also I also don’t think a company should have four projects. The lines get blurred,” tweeted a fourth.
“Discard all the housewife shows, more like top chefs, designer shows, new ideas,” suggested a fifth.
“They also need to have strict production rules. Stop playing favorites, don’t socialize with the cast, give everyone fair edits and just let reality happen without overproducing everything,” said another person.
Some others agreed to clauses they believe should be in future contracts, including requiring stars to film with all cast members and attend the reunion.
They also want cast members to stop leaking stories on podcasts and social media.

WHERE THINGS ARE ENDING
There have been some new announcements in the Bravoverse recently, including an unprecedented schedule change that has shaken up RHONJ.
On Saturday, it was revealed that New Jersey would not be having a Season 14 reunion because the cast was unwilling to film together.
The rare break led many viewers to hint that the Bravo show would be canceled soon or have a new all-star lineup.
“The women were notified by production this week that a traditional reunion would not be happening this season amid the divisive state of the show,” a source said. Page six.
A second source said Bravo is now “thinking about a different concept to end the season.”
The cast, which includes Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Jackie Goldschneider, Dolores Catania, Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Rachel Fuda, Danielle Cabral and Jenn Fessler, is currently in a major feud.
The Vanderpump Rules finale also had viewers speaking negatively about the network after the spinoff aired at the end of season 11.
The last few minutes showed OG cast member Tom Sandoval, 41, trying to have a private conversation with his ex Ariana Madix, 38, after cheating on her just months earlier with his co-star.
Ariana refused as she believed it was clear that Tom was just trying to make a better name for himself on camera.
The three-part reunion was also met with some backlash, as fans called for Lala Kent, 33, to be fired from the show.
VPR’s fate is currently unknown, as the show has paused production to film new episodes.
The producer also teased the introduction of new faces for season 12, as current cast members hinted at moving to The Valley.
