The Maroon 5 singer was part of the first season of The Voice alongside Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera and CeeLo Green.

He left the show after the 16th season after winning the show three times.

For the first time, country singer Kelsea Ballerini will have her turn in the swivel chair.

Joining them are coaches John Legend and Michael Bublé.

On Wednesday, The Voice’s official social media account confirmed the news with a video from the Wake Up Call hitmaker himself.

“Yes, I’m coming back,” said Adam.

“Can not wait. I’m well rested and ready to go.

“I’m a little nervous, I’m not nervous, but I’m really excited and it’s going to be great.

“Team Adam is back. I feel bad for the other teams.

“The 27th season will be different. Voice fam, here we come.”

In the comments section, fans were thrilled that the OG coach would soon return.

“The best news ever,” said one.

Another tweeted: “Thanks for returning Adam!”

KELSEA DEBUT

In another video shared on X, formerly Twitter, Kelsea, 30, shared her excitement.

“Okay, it’s official. I’m so excited to join The Voice next year, guys.

“Come on, team Kelsea!”

Kelsea is a Grammy-nominated artist with over 6 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

His most streamed songs on the platform are This Feeling with The Chainsmokers, Half of My Hometown, Miss Me More and Peter Pan.

His most recent album was released in 2022 and is called Subject To Change.

‘SEE YOU SOON!’

Along with Kelsea’s message, Michael and John also shared some words of their own.

Michael said: “I’m really excited to be joining The Voice next year, let’s go Team Bublé.”

“What is The Voice without Team Legend? I’m excited to be returning to The Voice next year. See you soon,” exclaimed John.
