THE VOICE fans were left confused after two new stars were added to the show’s panel, joining the already cast stars.
On Wednesday, the show announced that Adam Levine would return to the singing competition in season 27 and Kelsea Ballerini would also participate.
Adam, 45, and Kelsea, 30, will join John Legend – also returning after a stint on The Voice – and Michael Bublé.
Michael serves as a judge alongside Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani.
Fans in the comments on The Voice’s Instagram announcement expressed great confusion.
Reba, 69, and Snoop, 52, were recently announced as part of the show’s judging panel.
They are expected to appear when the show returns this fall.
Adam and Kelsea, however, are scheduled to appear in spring 2025.
It’s unclear if any judges plan to leave the show by then.
The announcement led to widespread speculation about who is potentially leaving and who else could join – or return to – the show.
RUMORS ARE SPINNING
“So this obviously means Reba is leaving and Blake could return,” one fan wrote, suggesting that Blake Shelton, who left the show after season 23.
“Well, season 26 is coming and it will feature Reba, Gwen, Michael Bublé and Snoop Dogg. Adam is talking about season 27, the one that comes after the next one, so there’s still time to embark on Adam season. Oh please make it happen,” a second supporter posted.
“My God, I’m so happy he’s coming back. Bring Niall back. [Horan]Reba and Kelly [Clarkson]. Wow that would be powerful,” pleaded a third fan.
“AMAZING That means Shelton is coming back too!!!!!!” a fourth fan guessed.
“Imagine Adam and Blake on the same team?! Or Blake as your advisor!! Legendary!!” another The Voice viewer gushed.
