DISCOVERY has revealed a major change to the production schedule for Naked and Afraid XL.
Spin-off series Naked and Afraid was preparing to begin filming season 11 when it was abruptly shut down.

The 10th season of the long-running reality show premiered on May 12 and will end on June 30.
Naked and Afraid XL follows a group of brave individuals who survive 40 days in the Columbia Badlands of South America without food, water or clothing.
However, Discovery executives want to take a step back before diving head first into Season 11.
“We have paused production on the next season of Naked and Afraid XL for a creative refresh with plans to film later this year,” said a Discovery representative. Deadline.

In the meantime, fans don’t have long to wait for more content.
The news outlet revealed that the third Naked and Afraid spin-off, Naked and Afraid: Last One Standing, will premiere sooner than expected.
No official premiere date has been set for the upcoming second season.
Last One Standing is different from the two shows in that it brings back winners from previous seasons to compete in challenges to win $100,000.

The first season of Naked and Afraid premiered on June 23, 2013 and has had 17 seasons.
Throughout each episode, viewers meet contestants who partner up and work together to find food and shelter.
However, before the journey begins, each competitor can bring one necessary item with them.
During their time in the middle of nowhere, they interact with the other players who are completely naked.
The player’s objective is to last 21 days in the desert, but they can give up at any time if they don’t want to stay any longer.
Deadline also reported that the 18th season of the popular TV series is in active production until August.
