On a recent episode of the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, Hannah admitted that things almost got off on the wrong foot with Tyler, who ended the season as Hannah’s runner-up.

“So the thing about Tyler – I thought he was drunk or something was wrong with him when we [met],” Hannah, 29, said on the June 18 episode of the podcast.

“I asked the producers to check on him,” she recalled while laughing.

“I was like, ‘I think there’s something going on.'”

She added that he could have just been nervous, but that “his eyes were barely open.”

“I’m like, is this guy here with us? I’m not sure.”

She went on to say that Tyler seemed “obviously attractive” but that there was no initial spark for the two because of his unusual behavior.

“People, of course, always ask me about the important people I ended up having connections with — and there wasn’t really a connection with him the first night,” she confessed.

Podcast hosts and Bachelor in Paradise alums Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt asked Hannah if she almost eliminated Tyler from the dating competition on night one.

Hannah responded that she “almost did” because the two didn’t talk.

“I know it’s hard to get your time and there’s so much going on, but I thought, ‘This guy isn’t serious,’” she said.

Despite his lack of first impressions, Tyler made it to the end of the season and finished second when Hannah got engaged to Jed Wyatt.

Jed and Hannah quickly split after their engagement after it was revealed that Jed was dating another woman before and during his time on the show with Hannah.

During the season 15 live finale event, Hannah asked Tyler out on a date — but their relationship never went anywhere.

NO INVITATIONS FOR EXES

“My invite wasn’t mailed and probably won’t arrive like it should,” Tyler revealed to The US Sun while promoting his partnership with Arm and Hammer.

“I think a lot of people have asked me this question and I think exes shouldn’t come to your wedding.

“I just don’t think it’s a good idea for anyone.”

However, Tyler still referred to Hannah as a “good friend” in the interview.

“Yes, I would call her a good friend,” he continued.

“I think we can certainly count on each other and, you know, support each other. So I think that’s important.”
