She will train alongside Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg and Michael Buble in season 26.

However, Gwen will not return for season 27, as Michael, Kelsea Ballerini, John Legend and Adam Levine will take over as chairs.

A source exclusively explained to The US Sun that Gwen, 54, is taking home $13 million on the upcoming season of The Voice.

Sources claim No Doubt were planning to hit the road after their critically acclaimed Coachella weekend double header.

They were offered concerts across the country after their comeback sparked huge interest from fans.

No Doubt hasn’t toured in 12 years, but the plan fell through, prompting Gwen to return to The Voice.

The source also revealed that Gwen felt she “didn’t need the band” because she “does a lot of solo shows playing her old hits alone.”

“She gets private bookings all the time to do solo shows and, of course, she plays these songs. It’s really a business decision. ‘Do you go to work and get all the money yourself or split it multiple ways?'” the source said. .

NO MEETING NO DOUBT?

“No Doubt’s triumphant Coachella performances were discussed as a relaunch platform for the band,” said a source.

“They worked hard for months to deliver the perfect show and return the magic to the audience.”

“The initial desire was for Gwen and the band to use this platform to continue playing beyond Coachella on a tour, but that plan fell through,” the source continued.

“But there was talk of tensions between members and managers around going back and trying to work around everyone’s schedules.”

The source claimed that Gwen had the biggest offer to return to NBC, so she decided to go her separate ways and return to TV.

However, what she would earn from No Doubt in two months of touring would be the same amount as she earns from The Voice.

A representative for Gwen did not respond to US Sun’s request for comment.

An NBC representative declined to comment on salary.

REMAIN A MENTOR

Even though Gwen took a few seasons off, she still mentored many past contestants.

Former contestant Jay Allen spoke about Gwen at Keep Memory Alive’s 27th annual Power of Love gala in Las Vegas.

He said she and her husband, Blake Shelton, are good human beings.

They advised him on career choices and supported his fundraising work.
