The Georgia native was fired from the Food Network in 2013 after being sued for racial discrimination.

Now, Paula has shifted her focus to social media and continues to share her favorite recipes and kitchen hacks with her followers.

Her most recent upload to the Love & Best Dishes cooking segment on YouTube showed Paula sharing the recipe for her Aunt Peggy’s cucumber, onion and tomato salad.

The Southern cook was seen behind her kitchen island wearing a gray denim shirt with rolled up sleeves.

She wore thick black-framed glasses that covered most of her face, and her signature silver hair was styled in a loose hairstyle.

Paula looked completely different than fans remember from her cooking show years ago, where she appeared to have a fuller face and often wore her hair styled down in loose, voluminous waves.

The chef currently has more than 500 thousand subscribers on her YouTube channel and almost the same number of followers on Instagram.

PAULA’S DISMISSAL

Paula’s resurgence on social media comes after the star was fired from the Food Network more than a decade ago.

At the time, she hosted several shows and managed a few restaurants.

In June 2013, Paula was sued by Lisa Jackson, former general manager of Deen’s Uncle Bubba’s Seafood and Oyster House.

During the deposition, the celebrity chef admitted to using the n-word in the past.

When asked by Delicious if she ever said the word, Paula would respond, “Yes, of course.”

“That’s not a word we use over time. Things have changed since the 60s in the south,” she added.

“And my children and my brother object to that word being used in any cruel or mean behavior. As well as I do.”

The chef’s representative later issued a statement to the TMZ.

“Ms. Deen does not condone or consider the use of racial epithets acceptable. She is looking forward to her day in court,” she would say.

Shortly after, the Food Network revealed that it would no longer renew Paula’s contract, ending her 14-year tenure.

In an attempt to recover her image, Paula appeared on Today and stated that she was “not racist”.

She later returned to the small screen in a new program, Positividade Paula, on RFD-TV.

The new series was canceled after two seasons.

These days, Pauls is often seen spending time with her family, including her husband of 20 years, Michael Groover.
